Why do the Raiders have so many players to watch? Robert Gallery and Warren Sapp. Come on! Cecil Sapp has a better chance at a big year than Warren Sapp. Hell so does Bob Sapp. Warren Sapp is finished, through, done!!!

The Raiders are going back to 4-3 to put Sapp back to where he can be most effective and to accomidate our slow LBs

The idea is fine but Sapp is sapped at the ripe age of 32. He will be solid at best nothing against him (except his over sized yap)

Who cares about Sapp, Tommy Kelly badly outplayed him last season.. It's not like the cupboard is bare ,at DT anyway.

Who said that? Not anyone from the Raiders. Norv continues to say we'll be "multiple" and photographic evidence from mini camps would suggest otherwise (That looks like a 3-4 to me with Brayton at L OLB looking a bit skinnier.)

All eyes are on the Raiders this year, you know it like everyone else.

The Raiders are gonna be explosive on offense, nobody even considers that to be a reach.

The reach will be on D, improve to a middle of the pack squad on D and the AFC west will be dominated once again by the team that belongs there .... The Mighty Oakland Raiders

Here's a quote from a SF Chronicle article that I cant find the original link to. .

Quote:
It all looks good on paper. But the question remains: Will the Raiders go back to the 3-4 front or will they scrap that plan and revert to the 4-3?

"We get that question every day,'' Turner said during a break in Alameda last week. "And right now, we're working both equally. We want to play both. We want to be multiple. And play both at a high level.''
A year later, Turner said, converted down linemen and pass rushers such as Tyler Brayton and Sam Williams, both of whom will now play linebacker exclusively, should be more in tune with the scheme.
"Those guys have improved markedly in terms of playing in the 3-4. But no question, we do have a comfort level in terms of the 4-3,'' Turner acknowledged.

That much became clear when the Raiders signed former Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Derrick Burgess, who came back strong in 2004 to post 10 tackles (nine solo) and three sacks in the playoffs and Super Bowl XXXIX.

Though Burgess has played linebacker, Turner said he will be used solely as an edge pass rusher at defensive end. "That's where he's at his best,'' the coach said.

With the abundance of multiple-receiver sets the Raiders will see this season, Turner said, Burgess will see plenty of work as a pass rushing end with the nickel defense. Playing opposite a veteran such as Bobby Hamilton also should be a boost for Burgess, who's entering his fifth season.

Your posts are as gay as your avatar. Watch Njibil and try and learn something... he comes in with facts and news and CONTRIBUTES instead of making insane statements about a ****ty team going nowhere.

I don't know. First I will have to tear my eyes off all those individual records being set by the Kansas City offense.

I'm kidding. I could care less about either team and their "explosive" offense. I will enjoy watching what happens when they hit explosive defenses though.

I think were running more 4-3, We are better suited for it and I think our FA could make an impact on that!

Dude,
You got a HUGE question mark at RB and DEFENSE and a brand new coach. Randy Moss across the middle, BOOM, Train WRECK after Lynch lays him out. "Nuff said"

Anyways, how is Porter not on this list. He's gunna be a monster with every D focused on Moss.

And not to be a homer, but damnit, how is DJ not on this list? I mean, our LBs are golden, (no pun intended) at least one should be there.

Why would Moss run across the middle on Lynch? It'd be much easier to run right past him.
