I have had 'Voodoo Child' by the late, great Jimi Hendrix in my head for a weak now.
Figured I would open up the Pandora's Box and see what other songs people had stuck in their head. |

Hendrix stuck in your head? Just give thanks and enjoy it. Foxy Lady was (according to my parents) my first favorite song as a toddler.
As of late? As much as I might not want it to be... that Killers song has been jammed in my mental playlist. (You Gotta Help me out.) Even worse... Muse has worked their way into my brain with their latest single. (Stockholm Syndrome.) |

And when that fog horn blows
I will be coming home And when that fog horn blows I want to hear it I don’t have to fear it I want to rock your gypsy soul Just like way back in the days of old Then magnificently we will float Into the mystic... |

Iv had David Allan Coe's version of "The Perfect Country and Western Song" stuck in my head. But i have the whole song stuck in my head. If anyone hasnt heard this song they should check it out deffinatley worth downloading.
" You don't have to call me Waylon Jennings, And you dont have to call me charlie pride, And you dont have to call me merle haggard, anymore, Even though your on my fightin side, And ill hang around as long as you will let me, And i never minded standing in the rain, But you dont have to call me darlin, darlin, You never even call me by my name" |

With me it's always songs I don't want to even remember. After much therapy I've been able to eliminate one song that nearly drove me crazy, American Pie. Hopefully I don't have a relapse.

"Well, I say it can't be the perfect Country and Western song, because it hadn't said anything at all about Mama... or trucks...or trains...or prison...or gettin' drunk. So here's another verse. Maybe this will make it the perfect country song. " "I was drunk the day my mama got out of prison. I went to pick her up in the rain. By the time that I got to the station in my pickup truck, She'd got runned over by the damned ole train." ![]() |

I've been the drummer for a few plays and shows for the last 6 years or so. Just finished "Footloose" a week ago, and trust me, that is not something you want to relive over and over for weeks after the show.

Mary Ann AND Ginger in the hut...Oh Gilligan...
It was obvious they had the hot's for the Professor, but he was too busy building radios out of coconuts to even notice. Last edited by watermock; 07-26-2005 at 09:19 AM.. |

There is a Dannon Smoothie commercial where this goofy dude is standing on a city street next to a big smoothie singing in a warbling voice about Dannon Frusion Smoothies:
"Trade in your breakfast for this dannon frusion smoothie!" I havent been able to get that out of my head since the first time I saw it. |

I have had some hilarious songs in my dreams that were hybrids of different songs and have even had some songs in my dreams that I made up completely. If anyone here has ever heard of Mike Keneally, he has a funny song called "Good Morning Sometime" that he remembered from a dream and wrote as it seems like it was in the dream. Its show-tune-ish and really repetitive. Pretty funny stuff. |
