Default Since the memory of SOB is now gone

What do you really think happened with the falling over the dog incident?

Do you think that really happened or did a pissed off teamate kick his butt.

Hey don't feel bad, we had players go to court of breaking anoother players face on the field (ROMO) and he is now gone.

Not taking any stabs at your team in this post just curious to what you guys think really happened.

It wasn't a teammate, rumor is he got his ass kicked at a party. Although if I had kicked Brian Griese's ass at a party, I would tell EVERYBODY. So who knows.

Who cares what happened back then? He stopped being relevant to this team over two years ago... he's the Bucs' (and Gruden's) problem now.

Pryce did not punch out Griese. It'd be professional suicide. You really think SOB would keep his mouth shut if one of his teammates beat the snot out of him?

Eeeewwwwwww....

Better go to the picture thread and take a good look at the players you are relegating to a status beneath an average player at best.

And as to the question, I think the kid fell face down on the driveway and tripped over the dog because he was drunk.

Griese's football skills aside I was personally very disappointed to see him in the press apologizing for tripping over his dog, tripping on Terrell's driveway, and what seemed a litinany of what they heck is doing now kind of moments.

I hope that he does well in Tampa Bay.

Yes, I do. You really think players don't get their asses whipped by teammates occasionally?

That's what I think too, if he had been belted by Pryce it would have come out by now.

I'm sure it happens. It happened to Lyle Alzado. I don't believe for a second that Griese is the kind of guy who would keep his mouth shut about it.

I think he would. I think he probably heard stories from his old man growing up and he knows that you keep stuff like that in-house whenever possible.

It happens, but in a league where everyone has an agent, a lawyer, and personal assistants do you really think it'd stay quiet? 90% of NFL agents would push for a civil suit, and for that they'd ideally want a police report. We've heard about it happening before, but I'd bet thats pretty close to the extent of the problem.

Griese probably tied a few too many on, as he was known to do while playing for us, and fell down the stairs on his own or some stupid **** like that. I don't see a teammate actually even having a reason to assault SOB, aside from his failures as our QB all reports say he was a generally decent guy, though if anything somewhat distant from the team. You don't punch out a guy for being distant, you only do that if he's a douche bag.

How do you know what he's like when he's drunk? His natural intellectual arrogance probably manifests itself in a particularly overbearing manner with a little liquid courage in his system.

You want to talk about professional suicide? Every professional sports team has a sign in their lockerroom that reads something like this: What you see here, what you hear here, when you leave here, let it stay here.

Most athletes understand exactly what that means. Keep your mouth shut and don't embarrass the organization.

I'm sure if Trevor just strolled up on Griese, called him a daddy's boy choke artist and popped him one, there would have been major repercussions. If, on the other hand, Griese instigated the situation, (something drunk a-holes have a knack for doing), then I can see it getting swept under the rug.
