I just got home from another exciting (not really) night at the office of the Kalamazoo Gazette (being a sports reporting intern is not glamorous. Hours are long, pay is below average but I love it) and I turn on ESPN.

Mark Fields of the Carolina Panthers was on. He's battling cancer.

He's one of the good guys and I hope and pray for his speedy recovery.

BTW, RIP SAM MILLS.

Mark Fields is a class act. I was devastated when I heard Sam Mills had passed on. The Saint's linebacking crew of the early 90's is one of the greatest ever
