Default Top 5 guys for the Broncos 2 picks next year?

Who are the list of five guys of which you would want the Broncos 2 first rounders to come out of.

List your top 5 hopefully future Broncos.

Here's mine from top to bottom.

1. Rodrique Wright, DT Texas
2. Mathias Kiwanuka, DE Boston College
3. D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT Virginia
4. Eric Winston, OT Miami (Fla.)
5. Darnell Bing, S U$C

1. D'Brickshaw Ferguson, OT Virginia
2. Mathias Kiawanua DE, Boston College
3. Reggie Bush RB, USC (I think his cutback ability is made for the Broncos blocking scheme, perfect time for Shanahan to shock everybody by acting like he's bluffing)
4. Vincent Young QB, Texas
5. Omar Jacobs QB, Bowling Green
6. Andrew Whitworth OT, LSU

If Vince Young can get a better hold of the mechanics of the position and become a more polished passer i would be in favor of him as well. This QB class is quite weak though. Right now, there is not a single QB that i think is first round worthy although Young has alot of natural ability. He did start to really turn that potential into production against Kansas and Michigan in the Rose Bowl. I just want him to take that next step. Bush is a surprising pick since we seem to have some decent depth at RB. He is certainly talented but i like Lendale White better. He is the better overall HB. He can consistently get your 4,5,6,7 yards. I thought he was tremendous in the Orange Bowl at just gashing through the OU front seven. Bush is more explosive but his size is a little bit of a problem and he is not much of an inside runner at all. Right now i have him as a late first round pick.

Denver will likely have 7 or 8 selections among the first 130 picks so we should be able to do alot of damage in this draft. I fully expect 2 immediate starters from next year's haul and 1 contributor in Year 1. 7 or 8 picks in the first 130, your almost guaranteed to strike it rich a few times.

I'd wager that the lower 1st round pick is going to be a complete potential pick, and the only way the higher pick will start is if Shanny goes DL or loses his mind and takes Bing with the higher 1st.

Crissinger-Hill is a real sleeper but he is first round quality in my book, no doubt about it. Michael Bush may be the best RB in the country this year with the last name Bush. You guys know what i think about Ernie Sims. He is just awesome. Only concerns are that he is a tad short and needs to add a few pounds but he is definite pro bowl material once he fully develops. He can just knockout guys with his hits and he is just a beast. I am still sore over Jean-Gilles leaving South Florida for Georgia but he has made good strides in his career and will become a late first rounder this year.

I'll break mine into two groups, in no particular order.

1st pick
D'Brickashaw Ferguson
Mathias Kiwanuka
Mario Williams
Eric Winston
Rodrique Wright

Any one of those and I'll so a cartwheel

2nd pick
Darnell Bing
Orien Harris
Gabe Watson
Vince Young
Derek Hagan

I'd be just fine with any of those too.

Drop Bing and add Mario Williams to the top of the list and we would pretty much agree. It would be hard to pass up one of those premium OTs, but you know I am a DL bigot.

I think you've got to keep an eye on Chris Leak or another really good QB with our Redskins pick next year.... Plummer is getting up there in age and Shanny also may want to take advantage of using such a high pick on a QB.

i really hope vince young makes big strides with his arm this year...it would be really great to get an athletic yet good passing qb. if not, i would say go with a tackle.

with the second pick i would like to either go with a d-linemen, or a safety in bing...

one good thing about Young is we wouldn't need to spend any money on the WR core. Rice could play till he was 100 because Young can't pass to save his life. If there ever was a player that I thought there was a bigger run first pass second then Vick it would be him, and he's not even half as talented as Vick.

Vick is a horrible passer so I guess Young cannot complete a ten foot pass then ehh?

Let's compare shall we.

Michael Vick's Junior Season before he was drafted
87 of 161 passes completed (54%) 1,234 yards passing eight TD's
104 carries for 607 yards and and 8 TD's

And Vince Young's Sophomore Season
148 of 250 passes completed (59.2%) 1,849 yards passing 12 TD's
167 carries for 1,079 yards and 14 TD's

I guess Vince still can't throw with a 128.4 rating in 2004 and a 130.6 rating in 2003. that's funny

College ratings are over rated. His 1 more td then int is just awesome! His 154 yards passing per game are just going to scare the be-jesus out of other teams. Hes been pulled on a number of times because of his play...or lack of. He is never going to be a passer, Vick won't either. Keep on thinking Young will be the **** thats fine. I know that he will just be another Brad Smith.

I know college ratings are over rated. I'm not a gung ho supporter of Young. I know his passing is a little rough. But, he probably will be drafted in the top ten and will have the same shot Vick had. Like I say with all these college dudes, we have to wait and a couple years and see what happens.
