Default Thanks to all US Troops this 4th of July weekend

Thanks to those of you in the armed forces past & present for serving the common citizen of the United States. I don't have a political message here, just want to thank-you all for giving your time so that we here at home can enjoy & live our lives in peace.

I fly my American Flag proudly in honor of those who have spilt blood and those willing to spill theirs to protect our rights & freedoms.

Thank-you once again,

Steven Henricksen

They are having a shindig at Tinker AFB tomorrow. Thunderbirds are coming, lots of flyovers, Lee Greenwold (sp?), fireworks and other stuff to commenerate the holiday.

Thank you, Troops. You're doing a great job! I can't wait for y'all to come home. My wife's cousin was killed in Baghdad last year.

Hey troops, thank you. Not just on this Independance weekend, but every day. War or peace, thank you. We do appreciate you, for all your labors, be they combatant or civil, we thank you. Keep doing the dirty job that few are willing to do. Your work makes our life possible and no amount of praise or thanks can fully express that.

Thanks to our brothers and sisters taking care of our interests in the ME and every where else in the world. We would not enjoy our freedoms without you.

I want to say to my sisters & my brothers
Keep the faith
When the storm flies & the wind blows
Go on at a steady pace
When the battle is fought and the victories won
We can all shout together, we have overcome
We'll talk to the father in the sun
When we make it to the promised land

If we walk together little children
We don't ever have to worry
Through this world of trouble
We've got to love one another
Let us take our fellow man by the hand
Try to help him to understand
We can all be together
For ever and ever
When we make it to the promised land

Our bible reads
Thou shall not be afraid
Of the terror by night
Nor the arrow that flies by day
Nor for the pestilence
That walketh in the dark
Nor for the destruction
That waiteth in the noonday hour

This world is not our home
We are only passing through
Our trail is all made up
Way beyond the blue
Let us do the very best that we can
While we're travelin' through this land
We can all be together
Shakin' a hand
When we make it to the promised land

And to the ones for the future. My son will be deployed in January. And I do have a political message but I'll hold it in. Please, please keep them in your prayers.

I'm with you here...my nephew got called up last month three months before he was "out from under" and now he leaves in August....so I more than understand where you're coming from.
