Thanks to those of you in the armed forces past & present for serving the common citizen of the United States. I don't have a political message here, just want to thank-you all for giving your time so that we here at home can enjoy & live our lives in peace.

I fly my American Flag proudly in honor of those who have spilt blood and those willing to spill theirs to protect our rights & freedoms.

Unfortunately My cousin was the most recent casualty in Iraq who was from Colorado! So.....Thanks to all the soldiers and prayers for them and all their families for a safe return!

They are having a shindig at Tinker AFB tomorrow. Thunderbirds are coming, lots of flyovers, Lee Greenwold (sp?), fireworks and other stuff to commenerate the holiday.

Hey troops, thank you. Not just on this Independance weekend, but every day. War or peace, thank you. We do appreciate you, for all your labors, be they combatant or civil, we thank you. Keep doing the dirty job that few are willing to do. Your work makes our life possible and no amount of praise or thanks can fully express that.

I'm with you here...my nephew got called up last month three months before he was "out from under" and now he leaves in August....so I more than understand where you're coming from.
