Default Kenny Rodgers suspended 20 games

And fined $50,000 for shoving two cameraman. I think he deserved more. Who does he think he is?

You've got to be freaking kidding me. I already have 4 starting Pitchers on the DL in fantasy BB.

Its time to start the football season now.

So really he is suspended 4 games...

People may or may not agree with me, but I've always said that they need to punish starting pitchers at the exchange rate of position players. If this warrants a 5 games suspension for a player, then SP's get 25 games, make it relative to the time they'd actually miss.

After being bombarded constantly with the clips on ESPN news, I agree that he deserved the suspension. What a punk.

Rodgers roughs up a cameraman for the national audience, makes more than Mike Tice.

Tice scalps a few SB tickets, something that the NFL has been turning a blind eye to for decades, he's popped 100k. My overall opinion is that if teams, corporate sponsors and coaches are going to scalp tickets, they shouldn't give them any. Obviously, alot of the people attending the SB don't really care about the game anyway. This is kinda off topic, but dragging bonehead out and making him an example wasn't very fair.

Tice just wanted a few extra bucks, and might of even sold them to friends...I dunno. What Rodgers did was assault. The media is paid to do that job. It's not like some guy was hiding in a closet while he nailed the local groupie. They are paid to handle these things. Time for a steroid test on this guy.

I just wish one of the cameramen would have put down their camera and told Kenny to come get some. Kenny thought he could bully the guys around. I say bullshi*. Kenny has probably never been in a fight in his life. On principle alone the camera guy should have squared off...even if he got his butt kicked. I get sick of seeing these athletes act all hard when they know they will not be challenged.

Just my two cents. I would have loved to see that little cameraman take Kenny, put him in an arm bar until he called himself a puss* and said he was sorry.

Kenny is 40 years old and having the best year of his career. Dude needs to be thankful he is still playing at an age when most are retired and he is playing at a high level to boot. Instead he stomps around and broods and acts like a general miserable pric*.

That would have been quite entertaining.

Your post was on the money.

Kenny Rodgers is a loser. He got into fight with a water cooler and the water cooler won.

I think he deserved at least a 6 game suspension, meaning 30 -40 games (pitcher) And 50k was prob alright i suppose, but what a jerk, the camerman could sue for soo much more than 50k, but the guy seemed like a nice guy and things will probably be settled quietly.

Ever notice on Best Damn Sports Show that John Sally will defend any of these idiots.

It isn't like the guy was trying to film him walking down the street on his own time. He was in his baseball uniform on a freaking baseball field. Hello, jack a** your a pro baseball player, there are going to be people filming you whe your on the field. It is how you make so much damn money.

I think this is worse than Dennis Rodman kicking that cameraman a few years ago.

We are now defining behaviour with Dennis Rodman? He's the Median?

That's like setting the bar at 25 feet.
