V is my earliest childhood memory. A while back I bought it on DVD. Man that **** is great. I've recently been buying back my childhood on DVD.

GiJoe seasons 1-2 and the movie - DVD
V - DVD
Dukes of Hazzard season 1-2 - DVD
Doogie Howser MD season 1 - DVD
ALF season 1 - DVD
In Living Color seasons 1,2,3 - DVD

As soon as they start printing up Mr. Belvadere I'll get that.
Looks like I'll have to get Airwolf too...that **** was badass.

Knightrider was cool aswell. I also watched alot of Miami Vice and reruns of Starsky and Hutch.

I liked Airwolf. My favorite TV show of all time is Cheers. That show kicks so much ass it's redicules. My favorite hour long show would be Magnum PI or Letterman. I would watch those shows every week.

I was still just an itch in my dad's pants at that time. I wasn't born until 80.

"Silver Spoons" was a mildly entertaining show in the 80s as well...

I remember as a kid, I used to love to watch Perfect Strangers and Mr. Belvedere on Friday nights... My brother and I would go rent a video game for the weekend once we got home from school... We'd play up until Perfect Strangers was on... Follow it into Mr. Belvedere, and then after that it was Nintendo, Nintendo, Nintendo...

At least they got Battle Star Galactica right on Sci-fi. I was afraid we would get BS 1980 all over again!

Yes, yes they do. I was going through the cartoon DVD's at Bestbuy last week and noticed something odd. It was something that I haven't seen in years. I almost bought it but decided against it. It was the entire series of "Rambo" on DVD. Anyone else remember the Rambo cartoon?

A representative from their mother ship made contact with the governments of the Earth assuring them, the only purpose for their arrival, was to share their advanced technological developments. In exchange, the Earth would give the aliens a shipment of minerals that were plentiful on our planet but lacking on theirs. Slowly, the aliens unloaded personnel and arranged for the transfer of materials. Using the Media to their advantage, the aliens created a propaganda package that convinced the people of Earth they had nothing to fear from their friends from the stars. In reality, the aliens planned to use the population of Earth as a food source for their home world, transporting the bodies in freezer-units located on-board their spacecrafts. Another alien deception was the Visitors' appearance. Beneath their humanoid facades lurked the scaly faces and bodies of two-legged reptiles. However, all good plans of mice and reptiles soon go awry. Their master plan was uncovered by a crusading broadcast journalist, Mike Donovan (Marc Singer) and a brilliant scientist, Dr. Juliet Parrish (Faye Grant), who formed a unit of freedom fighters to battle the alien occupational forces. Diana, (Jane Badler) the ruthless leader of the aliens, reveled in the torture of her human captives and in their eating. The hand-to-hand defense system used by the Visitors was called "Revoc" taught by the blood-thirsty mercenary, Klaus. It consisted of the deadly "silent strike" technique. However, not all the aliens agreed with their empire's plans to slaughter the Earth's population. Many followed the teachings of a renegade priest, Zon who taught against the tyranny of the Visitors. His disciples chanted "Zon is the cause for which I would die, but not for which I would kill." A partial solution to the alien occupation was the development of a red-powdered dust chemical compound safe to the humans but deadly to the reptiles. This "red dust" bacteria infiltrated the alien's gill tissues and suffocated them. With this weapon, the freedom fighters slowly began to win back the Earth from the alien domination. A female earthling, Robin Maxwell (Blair Tefkin) had fallen in love with one of these aliens, before she realized his true form or intentions. Her interplanetary romance produced a hybrid child with strange powers...powers that the alien empire wanted to exploit. These reptilian invaders first appeared on the 1983-84 miniseries "V" and on the subsequent spin-off V & V: THE FINAL BATTLE/NBC/1984-85. See also - "V"

I might not be rembering this right, but didnt the old Jewish guy tell some kids that were spray painting a wall that V stood for victory. Anyways I loved this show, it would be nice to see the updated special effects.

Joe Mannix was a man's man way before anybody ever thought about making a joke about that cliche.

I saw him get shot and tossed out of a moving car. I saw him jump off the second floor of a warehouse onto an armed perpetrator and get up like it was all in a day's work. I don't know of any detective show of its time that was more violent.

I was also madly in love with his secretary Peggy Fair. She was the perfect woman. Smart, beautiful and loyal to a fault.

When Gail Fisher passed away a few years ago, I was very depressed.

So when is Alyssa Milano going to do Playboy anyway? I suffered through way too many Who's the Boss episodes, and I sort of feel like she owes me and the rest of the American 80's youth who struggled through Tony Danza's antics just to get an eyeful of sweet, sweet Alyssa. *sigh*

Rent Embrace of the Vampire. True, it's awful, but watching a topless Alyssa make out with the asian chick from The Golden Child is almost worth it.
