Rep on this find. Great read. Getting ACE certified for training this summer and this should come in handy. There are some very interesting opinions in the manual. "All supplements are a waste of money" being one of them.
Don't agree with that completely, but the more you can take in via natural sources is obviously preferred. Just funny to read something like that in a manual read by what likely is the largest group of supplement purchasers in the country.

Creatine is pretty much the only supp that's worth a damn imo. I use lots of whey too, but I don't really consider that a supplement. Let me know how the certification exam goes, I'm thinking about it myself.

Actually Venus is looking better than Serena these days. But Venus v. either Davenport or the Manwoman isn't gonna be pretty.

I thought Williams would beat sharapova, but I seemed to be in a minority. Hope there's lots of baseball on the tube this weekend. I'm having to stairmaster and arobacize rather than lift, after rupturing my biceps fighting a wet muddy dog last week.

Them too. What's the alc content on coors lt v. bud lt? Coors is on sale about 80cents less per case. I usually do budlt.

It's the same. Most American beer is like 5.2 - 5.6, even microbrews. But for some reason I always seem to get a lot more wasted off say Fat Tire than Icehouse.

Scorp....try cutting those numbers in half. American lite beer is almost always 2-3 percent. Bud lite and Coors lite definitely are in that range.

I was overestimating, seems most lite beer is around 4.2-4.5%. The only time you'll ever find 3.2% around here is at a grocery store, because that's all they're allowed to sell. Other states may be different.

It is a state-to-state thing. OK sells a lower alcohol content beer than Texas and California do.

Same rules apply to liquor and malt liquors. Some states wont sell 40s in a convenience or grocery store and some will. Some require only sold in liquor stores.

Want high alcohol content? Stick with vodka. No carbs, no sugars, less calories than beer. Mix it with soda water and a couple of limes.... mmmmm! None of that rot-gut ****, though. Vox, Kettle or Belvedere!

I go with what I can drink....I really don't care what the content of it is and in some cases (like with Coors Light) I'd rather drink soda.

hard liquor is still very calorie-dense, as most of the calories in (good) beer come from the alcohol (9 calories/gram) and not necessarily the carbs (4 calories/gram). A shot of vodka is about 65 calories, a Pabst Lite is about 70, and Michelob Lite is about 130. So it kinda depends on what you drink. Plus, if you start chasing your liquor, the calorie count can skyrocket past beer pretty fast.

I'm just gonna be barbecuing and feel like a macro. I've been limiting myself to 3 lite beers a day on weekends. dropping some weight. Of course, I still get my 3 shots of taaka and box red wine.
