Do these offseason moves make everyone comfortable that this team can finally make a real run? And if not, could it be Shanahans' last year? If you agree Shanahan is a good coach, what does he need at this point to push this team past that 'first round' frustration that's setting in. This almost reminds me of the Dolphins, who (except for last year) always would go on a run, and get wiped out in the divisional playoffs.

They can't keep limping into the playoffs as a road wild card and expect to do anything in the post season. That means the annual mid season malaise, that sets in every year, must not be allowed this season. Hopefully Shanahan can keep everyone focused on football and not let them get distracted by secondary issues like money or decals on their helmets.
