I finnaly get to see Scorpiosnow's boy Van Pelt in action! Thank GOD for the DIRECTV, even if they keep raising the Nfl Package every year (40% renewal savings my A$$).

NFL Network to air 55 games in 25 days:http://www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/story/8581089

Denver at Arizona (Friday, Sept. 2, at 10 p.m. ET)
A look at two rookie running backs, Maurice Clarett (Denver) and J.J. Arrington (Arizona), in addition to Cardinals top pick Antrel Rolle and free-agent acquisition Kurt Warner.

I bet the NFL is lov'n Clarett now. He's already making the NFL money and he hasn't done one damn thing on the field yet.

I only have the dish for NFL package & pay per view movies. We kept cable as it is cheaper & the weather does affect reception on the dish.

BTW I am still laughing about Monkey eat Peach dude...

I love having the NFL Sunday Ticket, but I can't stand Directv & those morons that answer the phone and I would love to be able to tell them where they can stick that satellite and receiver...

Pre-season might be a little difficult to get any games, but I just go to a local sports bar that has DIRECT TV once the season starts. They show all the games going on at once and it's great...

And to think, Direct is generally regarded in the industry as having the top customer service in the cable, satellite, telecom business. I have worked with the call centers for most of those companies. They are all filled with misfits with about a sixth grade education level and they are for the most part saddled with systems that are dinosaurs developed in the 60's. Their online systems are just prom dresses on those pigs. You would think that these companies would have top notch systems and quality people in customer contact positions, but they are too narrow minded to care what happens outside thier own little world.

I have eight guys that have been sitting on their hands, billing a very nice rate, at a telecom company for the last two weeks waiting on a very simple yes or no answer to an insignificant question. I would be mad at them except I know the manager and know she is not capable of making a decision, even a simple one. Bet she needs plenty of time and advice to pick a toilet stall. Oh well, they guys and my company are making money, but it is ultimately at the end user's expense.

Finally all the preseason games will be aired. The past few years I've found myself calling, and driving to, a number of sports bars hoping they'd have the Bronco game. It doesn't look like we'll see the games live, but at least we'll finally get to see them.
