Ravens | Sanders Thinking Adoption
Fri, 17 Jun 2005 19:38:38 -0700 Adam Schefter, of NFL.com, reports Baltimore Ravens CB Deion Sanders is planning to adopt Noel Devine, one of Florida's most highly-touted high school running backs. "The principal of my high school told me about him a couple of years ago," Sanders said. "Said the young man needed guidance. I didn't follow through then, but was back in my hometown for a Jevon Kearse event recently. Three more people told me about Noel and his struggles. I've spent some time with the young man, and he needs direction. He doesn't have parents; they died. God put this young man in my heart. This is not about sports. This is about a kid's life." This is a video of Noel Devine http://www.blogtelevision.net/p/Watc...1,2,,9541.html This kid is sick! |

He's damn good. I think Deion might be doing this to steer him towards FSU, but regardless of the reason, i am glad the kid is getting a home with good care.

I saw that clip on a few different boards. From what I read those clips were taken while they were playing the worst teams in the league.
The kid still can fly though. |

I kinda hope he's doing it simply because the Spirit is pushing him. Deion owes big for what he's been given. Something like this is good payback. He has a great deal of knowledge through experience that can help a kid like this.
Good for Deion. Good for the kid. |

Im pretty sure he will go to FSU now however im glad he gets to live much better and at the very least, he deserves to live with all his needs satisfied without worry of money after both his parents died.

As long as Neon Leon does not Buy the "King of Kids" Neverland Ranch I think it is Ok. He should also consider taking in kids that are not just gifted though...alot of kids need help...
