Default You Won't See This on CNN: WARNING-Graphic

Sorry if this has already been posted, but it's "new to me".

From an email just sent to me:

The lesson this young man never quite grasped is that you should not shoot at United States Marines with an RPG. They shoot back... and they are very good shots. They spend weeks at the rifle range under the close, gentle tutelage of their Drill Instructors. They learn their warfighting skills well, as exhibited by this short clip.
The clip was filmed by an Peruvian film crew. You can plainly see that the enemy soldier had lots of friends and they were rather upset at the outcome of this short engagement.

Note the excellent marksmanship and the interesting use of tracers.

I changed the URL. It had a naughty word in it so the forum replace it with *'s. I found another site with the same file. Hopefully, it'll work now.

its crazy that on their news stations there they show that kinda stuff. Makes the war over there seem more real to see fights on the streets and kids trying to do things they shouldnt

I guess the term "adequate cover" somehow lost it's meaning with this rocket launcher guy. Come on! You're in the middle of the freakin street! Did that guy lose a bet or something?? Very poor battle tactic.

Personally, I will never respect anyone who uses religion, any religion, as an excuse for hate.

I haven't been over there for a while since it became a place for a certain poster's continual spam.

Seems like more wars have been started over religious beliefs than any other reason. If you read up on it, even WWII had plenty of underlying religious causes. I am not saying religion is wrong. I believe everyone has the right to believe what they want, but I do not think they have the right to kill me or anyone else because I do not agree with them.

Exactly.

The path that some take may not be the path for others, wish we would just let it all go and let everyone live their life the way they choose instead of opposing everything that people don't agree with.

Sadly, religion has been causing wars since the start of time. Justifying evil in the name of "god" will probably never go away.

I keep it going as a loop. Now I'm looking for a way to make the frame where the tracer is going through his chest and ricocheting off his spine into a wallpaper. Either that frame or the one of him laying in the road, eyes wide open with part of his skull missing (near his ear) and the blood pooling under his head.

I dunno. Just gives me a warm fuzzy.

BTW: Does anyone speak Spanish? What is the reporter saying?

Pose for the cameras, kid. Sure, the "I wanna be a martyr for Allah" pose will be just fine... Yikes.
