The New York Giants will be returning to their 1956 road uniform look, which is only slightly different than what they've been wearing in recent years. |

Georgia Bulldog New Threads
I can deal. A combo of a modern feel with a still classic look. A nice mix indeed. http://www.ssur.org/news/items/2005/...UofGeorgia.htm |

Thank God for this One, or do we thank Jehovah??
Anyway the Mormons got this one right finally. After the unforgiveable disgrace that was their spaceman outfil; they will return to the traditional duds, albeit in a slightly darker version of blue. Hey you know what they say, "the darker the blue, the more ass kickin the Mormon" Anyway I can deal, just as long as they are out of those martian outfits. http://www.ssur.org/news/items/2005/...ghamYoungU.htm |

The Buffalo Bills will unveil a new third jersey this Saturday, which I am being told will be a return to their 1973 OJ Simpson era uniforms, though that fully remains to be seen. |

Kudos to the Jayhawks for not caving into the apparent demand for "everything Navy Blue". They will be staying "Loyal to the Royal". Rock chalk b****!!!! |

http://www.tsn.ca/cfl/feature.asp?fid=10310 The Winnipeg Blue Bombers look like the Rams, the Toronto Argo's look like the Titans and the Calgary Stampeders kinda look like the Falcons new jerseys. I think Reebok must be giving these jerseys away for free because I think nobody would wear them otherwise. Fugly!! |

Second, these new uniforms are awesome. As a BYU fan, I'm especially glad to see the team toss out the fugly shoulder pads that you see on porters at various movie theaters. |

The Missouri Tigers put a little monkey wrench in the recent trend of decent looking new football offerings.
While the front and back view of their new offerings aren't bad, the side view is again vomit inducing. However, let's give them credit for inventing a new "Uniform Stain". The Broncos invented the "Full Length Armpit Sweat Stain" The Titans invented the "Shoulder Pads Stain" The Falcons invented the "Tri Colored Deltoid Stain" Well Missouri has invented the "Halfway Between the Armpit and Lovehandle Stain". http://mutigers.collegesports.com/sp...061005aaa.html |

I think those uniforms look a lot better than the ones worn by the NFL's Tiger-Cats, a/k/a the Cincinnati Bengals. But then, I do dress like a fool all the time. And I have dressed like a fool since I was a little dude. Which explains why I'm so messed up today I guess. |

The Syracuse Orange are going back in time and paying respect to Ernie Davis, Floyd Little, Larry Csonka, etc. with their new football uniforms. They look good to me, especially the numbers on the side of the helmet. Greg Robinson at the helm of the old school effort! |

Kentucky's new duds. Fairly harmless, except for that unnecessary white striping. |

Wouldn't love it if the Broncos broke these duds out for the Thanksgiving game versus the Cowboys? The greatest road unis in Broncos history! ![]() ![]() |

Right on! Those are my favorite LB.
We should get the NFL Marketing machine to pay tribute to Marlin Briscoe; the 1st African American QB. Marlin wore those jersies in 1968, the first year we wore orange pants. |

The 2nd one is the day in 1969 that Floyd tore the Bengals up at Crosley Field for 171 yards. Tombstone Jackson sacked Greg Cook and Sam Wyche 4 times that day also. If you've seen the Sabol piece of Tombstone, he shows alot of footage from that game in that 7 minute piece. |

Cleveland Browns Unveil New Logo
The Brown's replaced the old logo (left) with the new logo (right). The team, which has used the color Cocoa Powder Brown as their logo since entering the league in 1946, said the transition to a new logo is meant to usher in a new era of Cleveland Browns football. "It was time for a change," said Browns Owner Randolph Lerner. "Our logo, Cocoa Powder Brown, no longer truly reflects who we are as a franchise." The new logo, Chocolate Sprinkles Brown, was designed by New Image Solutions of Cleveland at a cost of $23,500, said Ken Mather, media relations manager. The company said a total of 10 employees were involved in its planning and design. |
