No way I waste a future pick on a bunch of losers. Our pick from Washington might be gold.

Dan Reeves was good at that routine. The Tommy Maddox and Bobby Humphrey picks were priceless. Both were huge reaches, one was simply make Elway leave town, the other was a total headache, and we have plenty of those allready.

Too bad there isn't a Robert Gallery in next years draft. Nice Iowa boy, paid off his mom's farm with his signing bonus, and slopped the pigs to boot. We need more good guys. Too bad he wound up in the dark side, but you can't choose where your drafted. He might be someone we could pick up in a few years.

Again, I'm no expert, but I don't see a reason to spend a high choice on anything that hasn't been able to finish his deal. I have gotten so frustrated with Denver's picks that I have begun to lose interest, kinda like Denver itself.

Another dumb moment with Mock. Bobby had back to back 1000 yards season's back when only a handful of teams had one.

Yeah I enjoyed watching Humphrey play. I was just a kid then so I didn't really know about the other problems he caused.

USC's DT Manuel Wright is in the supplemental draft. A risk - as he has physical tools, but hasn't shown much desire for staying in school.

Personally, I would risk the 4th rounder we have from the Skins (if we can do that) on him. But I'm guessing someone may use a 3rd rounder on him.

Not a bad risk in the third either since it is possible to get two more compensatory third's from Heyward and Kennedy really. All of our FA's were released (GOLD and BROWN) meaning they do not count against the number of players lost to FA.

Manuel Wright is worth a shot with a 4th rounder.

Won't go to class to stay eligible (which is why he declared), injury concerns, and I believe he's been arrested a couple times. There's quality.

He was an All American coming out of LB Poly, which is an NFL breeding ground. I have read Miami will select him somewhere mid-to-late in the supplemental draft. Herc is correct in that there is significant baggage there though.

A 4th round pick on Wright is what he's worth. He's really nothing to get excited about and likely will never pan out to anything more then a rotational Under Tackle. Reminds me a lot of Monsanto Pope. Very similar in terms of talent.

That being said, he has character concerns along with a lack of work ethic. It would not surprise me to see him fall to the later portions of the supplemental draft such as the 6-7th rounds. DTs are my favorite players, and I'd love for us to actually draft some talent at the position, but I don't think this guy is the answer at all.

NFL SUPPLEMENTAL DRAFT UPDATES:

The NFL has set July 14th, 2005, as the official date for this year's Supplemental Draft... Former CLEMSON wide receiver ROSCOE CROSBY (#25) will be holding a private workout that may be attended by several NFL teams on Friday, June 10th, before having his formal "Pro Day" workout on either July 1st or July 6th... since the league office has not officially announced Crosby as being eligible for the upcoming draft NFL teams are only allowed to view him workout, but not allowed to have 1-on-1 contact or conduct an actual workout, so one of our staff members will be recording his workout numbers on Friday... this initial workout will be done in the Columbia, South Carolina area, as he performs various events, including the 40-yard dash, vertical, bench press and then also catches passes from a "Live" quarterback, as part of the initial workout, which is an exact version of his daily routine... the entire workout on Friday will be taped, and then converted to DVD's for interested teams to review... more information about his July workout can be received by contacting his advisors over the next few weeks... Former USC defensive tackle MANUEL WRIGHT (#92) has setup his "Pro Day" workout for Friday, July 8th, as he continues to train in Colorado in preparation for that event... his workout will take place on either the campus of USC or the Home Depot Center, starting around 10AM in the morning... currently, he is 6060, 302 pounds, and has had one private visit with a team last week, according to his agent... he is also available for physicals, paperwork or phone interviews, leading up to the actual workout... more information about his July 8th workout can be received by contacting his agent over the next few weeks... Former Kentucky linebacker CHAD ANDERSON, who recently added his name to the mix of prospects to be evaluated for next months draft, has not set an official time or place for his workout, but we hope to receive an update from him within the next few days... there are a few other prospects that are investigating their current "Standing" with the college or university they attend in terms of their eligibility to play this fall, but as of today they have not forwarded the necessary paperwork to be evaluated by our staff for the Supplemental Draft.

Perfect! Then the national media will start following him and Warren until they smack one of them around at an IHOP at three in the morning. Wait, that's seems vaguely familiar for some reason like deja vu
