I'd say Browner and Q make the team somehow.

On this list, two (or more) will not make the team: Shoate, Roc, LaSueur, C Young

Trade C Young don't cut him. After his preseason performance last year somebody will take him.

And yes we still need some depth along the o-line. Sure there are names there but they aren't very good names.

Based on this weekend's events, these guys have to be nervous. I think Brandon and Middlebrooks are not locks either. If Middlebrooks actually gets a 4 game suspension, that won't help. Although, they'll probably handle him like Madise last season -- keep another player until he gets back and then figure out what to do.

Yeah I think we could go with a 2 QB rotation again, which probably frees another spot. We have a bunch of DBs and I don't think they are ready to give up on many of them. Of course, a few may end up with...uuhh...injuries so we can redshirt a few guys.

I think we could very well go with 2 QBs again. I doubt someone would take both BVP and Mauck off our practice squad.

I think we keep one additional back. Shanny really likes Sapp. I hope they trade Q, even for a 7th rounder. Get something for him.

No Dorsett Davis on the d-line? He is going to get a chance. Hopefully we don't have to give up on him just yet. But its probably close to inevitable by now.

Projecting that we get him as we know the Broncos want to, where does Brown fit in? Does he take the position of Palepoi, Sykes, or Chuckurah?

I'd say your guess is as good as the front office's at this present time. I wouldn't worry about that until Chad is actually signed. Injuries/suspensions will come into this cut down time so to speculate at this point is fun but a little bit like our draft, no-one has a clue.

At this present time we have 3 running backs who played very little last year, 5 if you include Bell and Dayne
5 Defensive Linemen who missed a heap of time in 2004. Pryce, Brown, Ekuban, Davis and Elliss.
2 Corners who ended the year on injured reserve (Walls/Middlebrooks) and another who didn't play a down (LaSeuer).

So for me there's far too many question marks/re:injuries at the moment to be picking a 53 man roster never mind some starting positions.

I'm really looking forward to the 2005 season because if anything the cut down is gonna be fun.
