IF we can get three of the guys on that list I'll have a much higher opinion of this year's rookie crop. |

If nothing else sign Shazor to send him on the field after the Colts are up on us by 4 TD's. He will make a few people pay!

The best of the UDFAs will likely see better deals than they would have as 6th or 7th round selections because teams will bid over them. Quote:

Herrell did not either, McCoy went to the Cardinals, and Maxwell went to Detroit. That just leaves Stubblefield and Herrel

Good for James Kinney! The guy played with a lot of heart and was a true leader on Missouri.

A true ballhawk FS seems to be more of a need, Fergie is only so good. Jim Leohard from Wisconsin is a great ballhawk.

Shazor would be fine at SS but not at FS. We still could get Bullocks next year for FS!!!!

I just want to see anybody from BYU on the broncos for once in my life. I like both Matt Payne to fight for a spot and S Aaron Francisco.

I think we should pick him up and let our new TE coach work with him.
Adam Bergen Grade: 3.35 Position: TE Class: School: Lehigh Conference: Patriot Ht., Wt.: 6-4.5, 265 40 Time: 4.9 Grading System BIO: Three-year starter awarded All-Conference and All-America honors the past two seasons. Finished his senior season with 54/634/8 after career numbers of 70/840/6 the prior year. POSITIVES: Ultra-productive pass catching tight end that displays ability as a blocker. Offers the quarterback an imposing target, extends and looks the pass into his hands. Makes the reception in stride effectively using his frame to box out opponents. Works routes, stays low on exit and positions himself to make the catch. Displays terrific concentration and creates a lot of mismatches. Runs well laterally and tough running after the reception. Can shuffle his feet in pass protection, stays square and is always looking to hit someone. Immediately gets out on the second level and removes linebackers from the play. Attacks blocking assignments. NEGATIVES: Not a tight end who makes a lot of plays into the defensive secondary. Stiff, gathers into routes and seemingly has difficulty adjusting to the errant throw. Does a bit of double catching at times. Must improve the strength of his base. ANALYSIS: Ultra-productive on the small-school level, Bergen possesses the size/speed numbers to develop into a complete tight end in the NFL. Must improve his overall blocking skills, yet is a solid, middle round selection who could eventually start at the next level. PROJECTION: Early Seventh Round 2004 Receiving Statistics Receptions Receiving Yards Yards Per Reception Touchdowns 50 589 11.8 8 |
