I think i dislocated my hip but i think it popped back in...it hurts really bad, and its swelling.
Has anyone else ever dislocated their hip? |

Duct Tape, or you might want to have an x-ray, not that it will do much good. I hurt my hip so bad skiing I make Festus look like Carl Lewis.

Dislocated my hip first year of PeeWee football in the championship game - spent 3 months in traction and had to relearn how to walk. To this day - and i'm almost 32 years old - I still have problems with the hip somewhat popping out when I sit at certain angles. Also, I dislocated my right hip but my lower left leg is still semi numb to touch. You would REALLY know if you dislocated your hip - it's extremely painful. |

If it didn't require versed and two grown men pulling your leg to reduce it... you didn't dislocate your hip.

I'm a Track & Field thrower, so I've experienced my hip problems.
Ice the hell out of it and rest for a few days. If it still hurts, see an athletic trainer or doctor. Hips are one of those injuries that it's hard to tell how serious it is. |
