Years ago I worked for the Army, trying to help cut down the cost of spare parts after the $900 hammer scandal. I know *exactly* what you are talking about.

That's right folks. ODY used to work for the Pentagon. Which ought to give you some idea about the quality of your equipment.

God only knows how much he skimmed off the top when he bought those cheesy Lifelines.

Why do you think I left? Damn upper echelon making some dumbass decisions.
"Obligating Funds" they called it, like ordering a 40 year supply of artillery fire control computers ($118 million worth) because a Senator from Connecticut made a phone call. Thank god I can vent my pent up anger on the unsuspecting contestants!

Back on topic, I am sad to report that the radiation suit we ordered for whoever gets voted to search the wreckage has been mis-shipped to Tanzania. We have a plastic rain poncho to replace it. Glad we can help!

We just finished Round One, and had the goddamned Chinese secret police drag away one of our contestants kicking & screaming.

For those of you PMing me to complain about the lack of "twists" in this game, all I can say is

You'll get your wish.

I'm also very disappointed that not a single volunteer has yet stepped (or been pushed) forward to go investigate the spaceship.

Opportunities like this don't come along every day.
