I think we should see how many passes we need to buy and coordinate so we can ensure we're all together. We'll have at least two of our Lot R tailgate team there.... |

Anyhow I mentioned I know some people looking for a ride to KC and she said "talk to dad". I have the contact info. I can only take so many on OF1 and it's basically full already but if we get 40 or more people they said they would charter a ride to and from KC. Tix aren't that hard to get either expecially the way Chiefsplanet looks right now. ![]() |

Ok, we've locked in. We have a group of about 12 that are sitting in section 341. For tailgating, We've already bought two spots at Arrowhead Park. I have a contact with the Chiefs who can ensure we're all reserved in Arrowhead Park in the same location. I just need to get her names for everyone who has a spot and wants to be a part of the group tailgate. She did say that, to ensure grouping, they need to be pre-paid reservations because they could not guarantee all spots would be together if purchased on arrival. You can read about and buy a spot on-line on this site: http://www.kcchiefs.com/arrowhead/apark/. Please let me know and I can coordinate with the chiefs to get all our spots together.

I had a GREAT time tailgating with everybody at the KC game last year, but had a TERRIBLE time inside the stadium as my wife got shoved to the ground and I got pushed down the steps and tore ligaments in my ankle. I would like to tailgate again with OF1 and the Crew, but not sure I can talk the wife into going to that game again!
Anybody planning on just going to tailgate? |

Hey O-maners,
I'm bidding on some tickets for the game, I went last year for the game in Arrowhead, it was a good time besides the butt whoppin. I'm planning on bringing my fiance' down for the game. What is planned for the game? Are you guys doing some tailgating? I'll be checking back, can't wait to meet some of you guys. |

I was at that game, and I know there were some people that THREATENED to kick my ass. I just ignored the mouth-breathers... I will be at the game again this year. I don't think I met you. I'll be sure to fix that this time around... |

yeah Arrowhead park is our plan...you got a number to parking off hand? or a contact? are the spaces reserved in there or first come first serve?
Edit...nevermind I forgot about the link above. I'm still trying to nail down the parking in Dallas. Nobody seems to know much about it. |

I'm looking at two lower level tickets, 19 rows back, on the 25 yard line, for 150$ a piece. Anythoughts? Is that a decent deal?

Seems a bit high from when I was looking but that was a couple months ago. The stock in this game has definetly gone up since then. The chief fans/scalpers might be holding out a little more since they have won some games. One thing is for sure. There are always chief fans willing to part with their seats for beer money.
Those sound like great seats. Don't let me discourage you. We need someone down low flying a flag in that section! Hell get em! We have something like 8-9 of us in the endzone row 9 right in the middle. We'll be sporting plenty of orange and blue there. |

I think the plan is to be in the lot around 8:00am. That's our usual start time. There is no best resource for away game tix that I know. You just got get em where you can.
Best place is at the stadiums and taking some other fans tix who his willing to sell them for close to face value. Only thing is you gotta run around to get that done. I just don't have time to do that while setting up the tailgates. Just keep your eyes all over the net. Something will come up. Last edited by Meck77; 11-08-2005 at 11:44 PM.. |

We're staying at the Holiday Inn on Parvin Road. Going downtown to a few spots we always go to. Anybody up to going out Saturday night before the game? We'll head down to Westport and Kellys about 8 or 9 Saturday night. Or where ever we end up.

I'm calling today to reserve a spot for OF1 here......
http://www.kcchiefs.com/arrowhead/apark/. We'll be combining forces with Crisars groups. I still have to talk to Mile High Jester and see what he wants to do. I know his group is going also. Last year 9798 we parked OF1 infront of the players hotel and crashed in the bus and the ladies stayed in a hotel room. That is our same plan. I'm not sure which hotel the players will be at just yet but have a pretty good idea. So Saturday we're going to kick it around the hotel. We bribed a chief fan to move enough cars at the vallet to make room for the bus... They have a cool bar there. Then sunday morning we'll pull out of the hotel around 7:00am and be in the lot right at 8:00am if it's open then ![]() ?Last edited by Meck77; 11-09-2005 at 09:52 AM.. |

ok just ordered the arrowhead park spot online. Only problem is they don't give you a confirmation or anything to print out to show that it has been paid? I got a confirmation email but nothing to print out for a parking pass or even a receipt
? What the heck? Also there is no inidication when the lot reopens on gameday? It says entry is allowed up until 11:59am the day before the game. Well the Chiefs have my freakin $90 bucks and I got nothing to show for it. Not even a decent email. I'm all about the tailgate but it says the lot opens at 1:00pm the day before the game? This sounds like short term housing rather than tailgating? I wonder if the Chief fans just leave their RVs on blocks there all season long? lol *edit* well my email I replied to from the chiefs came back in error...just great No wonder these guys can't build a stadium. They can't even have decent instructions on parking and have an email system that works. Last edited by Meck77; 11-09-2005 at 10:16 AM.. |

97, 98 We've gotten along well in the past. Great to see you're making it! Can't wait to meet you folks. I've built a good repore with ZackKC. I will try my hardest to get him to come by the tailgate.. Don't know where my seats will be in yet. Just browsing E-bay and looking for a good deal. Many out there!

Ok the Chiefs called me back. Here is the deal with Arrowhead park. You have to get your vehicle in that lot before midnight and they don't open it until 11:00am the next day. Makes no sense to pay $100 when you can pay $45 bucks where we parked last year (North of Royals stadium).
However they gave me the number of another lady in parking who they thought could organize an early arrival for us and a couple other vehicles if that is what we wanted to do. I'm still waiting on Jester as he said he wants to make this trip also. We could all roll into designated area in the morning. The upside here is we wouldn't have to overnight it at the stadium and still be able to hang at the players hotel/run around downtown etc. I'm waiting on the call back. I had my deposit on arrowhead park but they said that it's refundable. Last edited by Meck77; 11-10-2005 at 10:35 AM.. |
