I'll help out with any necessary plans here.
I have a great sports bar that will likely support us with a large Broncos Giants Saturday tailgate bash. Meck, I'll send out e mails to you and him shortly. Meck, contact Joe Cahn right away because you might be able to get the Commish to attend this game also. If I can tell Miami Mike that we have the OF1 bus as well as the Comisioner of Tailgating coming, he may really pump this thing up. Also, since it's October 23rd, we should be in the beginning/middle of the World Series, which should add to the sports bar juice. Perhaps the Yankees will be home and OF1 could swing by the House that Ruth built. This Sports bar owner also believes you could set up shop in the Hotel parking lot, adjacent to the hotel/sports bar, though we'll have to finalize. We should get a tentative head count by July 1st, so we can pump this thing up. |

Cool, it will be a great time and I encourage everyone interested to let it be known if they want to go.
This place I have in mind is a 20 minute drive to the Meadowlands, and is the best sports bar in New Jersey. It is the 10 West Sportz Bar and Grille at the Ramada Inn in East Hanover, NJ. The guy who runs the place, Miami Mike, is a psycho Dolphins fan, who does a great job catering to alot of different fan bases. His bar has dozens of signed Dolphins jersies, memorabilia, etc., and he has a full time DJ playing tunes during all of the commercial breaks. He has 30 TV's and has every game possible. He told me he would print flyers and distribute them a few weeks in advance to promote a Saturday Afternoon/Night Broncos Giants tailgate party. He would solicit alot of Giants fans to attend as well and might promote the OF1 bus. The 10 West Sportz Bar is connected to a Ramada Inn, where the standard room rate is $109 per night, which is very rare for Metro NY. The rooms are not 4 star, but who cares, as it will be a great party. But enough people need to be interested to make it worth while. If we only have 8 Broncos fans there, I would not have this guy promote a Broncos Giants tailgate. We would need a good turnout/headcount wearing colors to make it worthwhile. So if you think you'd be interested, let us know so we can get a tentative headcount. Still plenty of time, but I would love to see this go down. |

Thanks GS. Looking at going with 2 or 3 friends who are Giants fans, they may balk at those prices. Will do what I can to make it.

You can also try signing up on the waiting list, it is free to do and they have a ticket exchange program. Here is the link for that:

Glad to here that the OF1 crew is headed East...
Let me know if you need any help with anything. A nice Sunday afternoon game in the swamps of NJ.... Giant fans are a cool bunch. I 've gone to a few Broncos games at the Meadowlands, and it's a grat place to see a gme, but the parking lot can get confusing. Can't wait to hang with you guys again! FYI... don't forget Atlantic City,a nd the Borgata, should be on your radar! ![]() |

Hey Meck,
Any chance you'll be going by close to the Fort Wayne area? If you have room I'd love to ride out w/ you to NY. Also I just bought my plane tickets to fly out for the Sept. 26 game on Monday nite w/ the chieves!! I'll do the cooking for both games. Let me know. Ken |

Right on man! Oh where is Ft. Wayne? We are taking the most direct route from Denver to NY. If it's not on the way we could pick you up somewhere along the way? I haven't even looked at what highway will get me to NY. The chief tailgate is going to be great. The monday night games give us plenty of time to chill in the lot, eat grub, and toss the ball around. |

Not sure about BumJR. But Mrs. Bum would like to go. Depends on how much room you have. Let me know what your timetable is on when you are coming thru and if he can take off of classes for a day or 2 he might like to go also.
Are there gonna be other ladies on the bus trip out? Mrs. Bum would to know how many couples might be going. We can talk about more when we come out for the Monday nite game on Sept. 26. Looking forward to hooking up w/ everyone again!! ![]() Last edited by broncobum6162; 06-25-2005 at 07:55 AM.. |

Meck, PM me your home or cell phone number so I can call you to put plans in motion for this road trip.
It should be a blast but it will definately take some coordination, and I'd rather do that will some live phone calls versus a bunch of long posts. PM me. |
