I'm watching this guy play announcer with a Jeopardy Champ.
"Can you tell me why a million people have switched to Allstate?" "Because they would be stupid not to?" Unfortunately, the host forgot to put the question into THE FORM OF AN ANSWER. If the host had said "You have forgotten to say "what is", then the guest could of said, "Well it wasn't an answer, but a question itself..." Totally idiotic. Evidently, that show has only been on the air for 30 years, but countless guests have been penalized for answering, not asking the question for the answer itself. You can't answer a question with a question on Jeopardy, but evidently it's OK with Allstate, especially if they are asking the questions. Last edited by watermock; 04-12-2005 at 08:53 AM.. |

That chick in the levitra ads "ready for something different" works like a charm for me.

They evidently don't get it! If enough people contact them, they'll pull the ad. |

the grossest one on TV, to me, is the one where Adrian Brody is in a leisure suit, with lots of CGI bubbles, makin all sorts of crazy cool handshakes with "ethnics" and jumpin in hoopties.... i think it's for diet coke. i'm all for people being cool with themselves and the world around them, but Mr. Brody follows a pretty lame, tired model of "coolness" made frighteningly clear in this ad. you got your collar up; you got your campy suit; you got bubbles all around you... but somehow i'd rather be connected to an asparatame and Phenylketonics IV than hang out with you.

Whoever dreamed up those Dr. Scholls "I'm gellin'" commericals should be dragged into the street and beaten with blunt objects.

C'mon TD...those Quiznos commercials were so obnoxious, they were great. Ever see the one where the guy picks the sub out of the trash can and then eats it? How about the one where they ask this weird looking guy if he was raised by wild animals? (one I won't elaborate on but it did make many I knew absolutely gag when they saw it
).....beats the hell out of those safe & tame talking baby commercials they have now IMO |

I hate the Mountain Dew spy commercials. I don't know what it is about those, but they just raise my hackles every time they come on.
The Smilin Boob ones are running an extremely close second though. |

Come on now, the one with the chick plugging the hole in the boat with her tampon is pretty funny. ![]() Ok, it's not really, but I did laugh the first time I saw it. |

I hate those damn 2 pop-ups everytime I hit the Denverpost/Broncos page - they are sooooo annoying!
Oh and how about those Levi's anti-fit ads - sux! Speaking of advertisments, Who received an 'invitation' by mail to purchase a 'Danbury Mint' Broncos chrome watch in the past week. Looks pretty nice but I'm hesitant to put down that kind of bread without hearing some input/feedback, if any? |

The only purchase invite I get is the same damn one all the time. It's a Broncos train, I think? It's cool and all, but I have more pressing needs than that at this point.
Oh and around Christmas time, I think I get the Bronco Santa one too. Grrr. |

Old Navy commercials. I think that's where washed up actors go to finish off there careers. Morgan Fairchild, Fran Drescher. Plus all those dancing models look like a bunch of mannequins cavorting around.
