Not much. But the mane board looks dull so here's a few tidbit's. I've included the links to the site, just incase you want to read it all.
The Seahawks could know as early as today whether veteran linebacker Jamie Sharper will be joining them for the 2005 season. Tony Agnone, Sharper's agent, said over the weekend he would like to have a deal done by today. Of course, that could change if none of the offers he has received are to his liking. Sharper visited the Seahawks last week after first meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals. The Jacksonville Jaguars and Cleveland Browns also have expressed interest in Sharper, who was released April 1 by the Houston Texans. http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/footba...74_hawk11.html On their current roster the Titans have only two backs with NFL experience — tailback Chris Brown and fullback/running back Troy Fleming. Jarrett Payton is playing in NFL Europe, but he'll be fighting for a roster spot in the fall. With starter Chris Brown having more injury problems last year — he racked up 1,067 yards but missed five games for the second straight season with injuries — there are still questions about his durability. So if one of the Auburn backs, or Texas star Cedric Benson, remains on the board when the sixth pick rolls around, would the Titans consider selecting him? ''Oh yeah,'' Reese said. ''Again, we are going to try and get as much value for the spot, and if one of those running backs is worth a six pick, we wouldn't hesitate to take them.'' http://www.tennessean.com/sports/tit...nt_ID=68079023 If San Francisco and Miami pass on Braylon Edwards, Cleveland could grab him at No. 3. If not, he'll make Chicago, Tampa Bay, Tennessee or Minnesota very happy. "They're going to get a guy who's a team guy and loves to make plays," he said. "He'll be there in the clutch. He's a face of the team. I've never been in any trouble on the field, off the field. I've always been a 3.0 GPA type of guy. That's how my parents raised me." http://www.daytondailynews.com/sport...1nfldraft.html On the football field Adam Jones likens himself to one of those Pac-Man creatures, trying to gobble up any errant passes that come his way on defense. Shortly after draft day, Jones should also gobble up a lot of money. The cornerback from West Virginia is a sure first-round draft pick, and could go in the top 10. Most observers believe either he or Antrel Rolle of Miami (Fla.) will be the first cornerback taken in the draft April 23. By the way, few call him Adam. It's simply "Pacman" Jones. He has personalized the spelling of the popular video game of the early 1980s. "No hypen," Jones says. One word? "Yes," he replies. Not lacking for confidence, Jones isn't worried about how he will respond after yielding a touchdown pass in the NFL. "I'll be all right," Jones said. "Trust me, there are not going to be too many." In college, Jones allowed only one TD pass in his last two seasons at West Virginia. http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/spo...7?OpenDocument Roger Cooper is headed to either the NFL or the psycho ward. Two months after being at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis, the former Montana State linebacker still isn't sure. He told The Bozeman Daily Chronicle that he didn't realize the combine would entail such a thorough mental evaluation. He was asked whether he would rather be a cat or a dog; whether he would try to hide or escape if he were in a skyscraper during an earthquake, and whether he would be a leader or follower if he were in a gang. One team asked him 450 questions. Cooper said it was ``the most nerve-wracking experience of my life.'' http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald...s/11363329.htm NFL tight ends come from a wider range of sources than most other positions, as indicated by the top five receiving tight ends of '04: KC drafted Tony Gonzalez 13th overall in '91. Antonio Gates went to four colleges but did not play football. Jason Witten of Dallas was drafted on the third round in '03 out of Tennessee. San Francisco got Eric Johnson on the seventh round from Yale in '01. http://www.detnews.com/2005/lions/05...D01-146475.htm |

ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports disgruntled Philadelphia Eagles franchised DT Corey Simon wants to be a true free agent. His agent went to the Eagles today and demanded that the franchise tag be removed. Simon doesn't plan to attend any off-season workouts or mini-camps, and could hold out of training camp as well.
ESPN's John Clayton reports the Tennessee Titans found a replacement quickly for DE Carlos Hall by reaching a one-year, $565,000 deal with free-agent DE Kyle Vanden Bosch (Cardinals). AP reports the state is asking the Saints to put $40 million toward renovations of the Superdome in its formal offer to team owner Tom Benson, and Gov. Kathleen Blanco said Monday that she wants a peek at the team's financial books if Benson rejects the state's offer and wants further negotiations. State officials offered a final proposal to the Saints two weeks ago at their final meeting to work on a renegotiated deal to keep the NFL team in New Orleans. Negotiators for both sides now are waiting for Blanco and Benson to sit down and talk about the offer. A meeting date hasn't been set. "I'm asking Mr. Benson to make some sacrifices and some personal investments," Blanco told the Press Club of Baton Rouge. Benson, who was out of town until this week, has received a full report on where the negotiations are, said Saints vice president of administration Arnold Fielkow. "He has been fully briefed on the negotiations, the offers and where the discussions are," Fielkow said Monday afternoon. "He is in the process of studying the state's offer and considering his options." AP reports New England Patriots LB Tedy Bruschi threw out a ceremonial first pitch at the Boston Red Sox's home opener Monday, nearly eight weeks after being treated for a mild stroke. "I am feeling pretty good," Bruschi said in a statement. He walked with a slight limp from the left-field wall along with three others who threw out first pitches - former Boston Celtics great Bill Russell, former Boston Bruins star Bobby Orr and New England DE Richard Seymour. All received a loud ovation as they walked to the mound. "I have firsthand knowledge on why the fans of New England are the best in the world," Bruschi said. "It's because of all the support they've given me - all the letters, all the e-mails and all the flowers that have been sent. "I want to tell them the most sincere 'thank you' because they've helped me get to where I am today." Bruschi had the stroke 10 days after the Patriots won their third Super Bowl in four years and three days after playing in his first Pro Bowl in Hawaii. He's been working out in Foxboro but there has been no announcement of his future playing prospects. The Plain Dealer reports the Bengals are considering releasing WR Peter Warrick, who is in the last year of his contract and is limited by knee and shin injuries. Warrick, the No. 4 pick in the 2000 draft, told the Cincinnati Enquirer: "It could be best for me [to be] somewhere else. Change is always good." |

It's similar to a chemistry experiment. A bunch of chemicals that can exploded in the teams face, or be just stable enough to get a passing grade. |

Having said that though, he's injury prone and afraid of contact. He's one of many bengals that look like a tiger but play like a p***Y. |
