Default Nuggs vs Warriors Karma thread.

Golden State is the 2nd hottest team in the west right now.

Before a double OT 136-134 loss to SA tonight ... GS had won 12 of 13.

Go Nuggs ... Beat GS and we'll be one step closer to getting to next saturdays Houston game with a definate chance to pass them.

GS should be nice and tired tomorrow.

Warriors, come out to play-i-ay

Proof that Earl has the vertical to dunk below.

The Warriors should be tired. You guys should not have a problem w/ them even though they are playing great recently.

The Spurs, w/o Manu, TD, Rasho, and Devin Brown, found a way to score on them.

The key for them is penetration. TP killed them by getting into the teeth of their defense. Boykins can do that and Miller can as well w/ his rugged drives to the post.

I'm glad we get these guys at home this time around.

Also, thanks to the Spurs for running them thru the ringer tonight ..... that along with the hassles involved with getting to Denver with the weather may have them dragging tomorrow night.

From tonights Boxscore:

Baron Davis - 50 minutes
Dunleavy - 46 minutes
J. Richardson - 45 minutes
Foyle - 40 minutes
Fisher - 36 minutes
Murphy - 34 minutes

Skita - DNP CD ( some things never change )
Rodney White - DNP CD

If Najera is over the "Flu Like Symptoms" that kept him from playing vs Seattle, i'd look for him to get a nice effort in against a team that he left on bad terms from.

I can only hope that GS offers Skita and Rodney enough minutes to try for a similar "revenge" aspect to take place on their end.

Other games on the schedule tomorrow night to keep an eye on ....

CLEVELAND at ORLANDO - I don't dislike Lebron, but i think it would be good for Melo to have some bragging rights in the Melo-Bron comparison that sprung up last year. The media and anyone else has Lebron on a higher level as an individual player right now (and thats a correct stance on that), but I'd like to see Melo have some bragging rights in the way of Playoff Appearances.

MEMPHIS at DALLAS - I wouldn't mind seeing a little more cushion put between us and Memphis before we play them coming up.

HOUSTON at SEATTLE - Houston's last away game of the year. Go Seattle ...

I could see Seattle tanking it against Houston just to help avoid playing Denver in the first round.

As for tonights game it will be fun to watch another team's bench have Rodney and Skita with that bitter look on their face every timeout because they can't figure out why they are not playing. Nuggets should win this one easily if Andre and Earl can play like they did Saturday.

Let's Go Nuggets! *clap clap clapclapclap*

This week sucks for me. I have a rehearsal or a gig during every game except for the game against the Rockets (thank God).

I can' put this up on the general board because it will die of a cruel fate. This is a quick thumb poll. Whose your favorite Nugget player?

Do you mean all-time or currently? Right now I'd have to say Camby because he brings it every night. All time, I like Phonz.

BTW, GO NUGGETS! SLAY THE WARRIORS!

Man, it's been shifting for me.

I love Camby's heart, his hustle.
I love K-Mart's confidence, his swagger, his big dunks and collar popping.
I love Melo's potential.

I guess I'd have to say Camby because he owns the paint... But it's tough.

Fav player? Wow, tough call but I'll go with K-Mart. I love the energy he comes with every night (that he's healthy)

This is a huge game tonight, I wonder when the warriors finally got into town.

Woohoo!! Go nuggs. That was a rocking game on Sat. I got two front row club level seats from a scalper for $80 total. Face was $96 per ducat. I love getting a deal, especially from those scalpers.

Denver Nuggets Team Report - April 11
(Sports Network) - The red-hot Denver Nuggets try to clinch a playoff berth on Monday, as they go for their eighth straight win when they host the Golden State Warriors at the Pepsi Center.

Denver is No. 7 in the West and leads the eighth-seeded Memphis Grizzlies by one game. The Nuggets are just 1/2 game behind Houston for the sixth spot.

It is the fourth and final meeting of the season between the clubs. The Warriors defeated Denver on December 27th and January 17th at The Arena in Oakland, while the Nuggets beat Golden State, 107-91, on February 5th at the Pepsi Center.

Golden State has lost three in a row and nine of its last 12 at Denver.

The Nuggets, who would tie their season-best for consecutive wins if they are victorious tonight, play the second of a four-game homestand tonight. On Saturday, Carmelo Anthony scored 24 points and Earl Boykins had 23 on 8-of-11 shooting as Denver cruised past Seattle SuperSonics, 121-105, at the Pepsi Center.

Andre Miller dished out a season-high 17 assists and netted 14 points against Seattle to help the Nuggets to their seventh straight win and 13th triumph in their last 14 games. Nene contributed 16 points in 21 minutes off the bench for Denver in the victory.

Under the leadership of head coach George Karl, the Nuggets have compiled an amazing 28-6 record. Karl became the team's general on January 27th when he replaced interim head coach Michael Cooper.

Denver, which won eight straight earlier this season from February 23 to March 12, is an impressive 27-10 as the host this season. The Nuggets, who are 3-6 in Monday games, will host New Orleans on Wednesday and the Grizzlies on Friday in the finale of the current stand.

The Nuggets have won eight in a row at the Pepsi Center and are 15-1 in front of their home crowd under the guidance of Karl. Denver's last loss at home was on March 13th to the Phoenix Suns.

There was this old club song that comes to mind where the hook is "I've got the power" I forgot who wrote that. Great riff.

They really should select George Karl coach of the year. The evidence is clear.

After our win over the Bucks, Cavs will really have to blow this 1.5 game lead with only 6 games to go, but regardless I've already braced myself for a 4 game sweep at the hands of either the Heat or the Pistons.

Miller has 8 points and 9 assists after the first quarter. Seemes to be contagious. Even Carmelo had a sweet pass for an assist.

36-29 after 1.

Damn, the end of work cannot come fast enough. Just 20 more freakin' minutes.

Good to hear Andre is playing well, he's been on fire as of late. 15 assists the other night.

Yikes, saw the updated scoreboard on ESPN, Rodney White chipping in with 5 early points.

I obviously want us to win, but if somehow the moons align correctly and Rodney & Skita go off for like 20 points each and Golden State wins, I'll have to just laugh and take it.

Otherwise, go Nuggs!

68-64 at half, Nugs.

Hopefully the Warriors legs will start getting weak under some of those 3's.
