I would say that Palepoi is a lock considering Wabbit mentioned that the coaches rave about him.

Looking back at Wabbit's post, maybe I used too strong of a word in "rave" about Palepoi...here's the post from Wabbit I was referring to:

Coaches I talked to were pretty quiet on Palepoi at the end of the season, other than to say he did a great job in the rotation role.

Maybe they see this kid stepping up...he was a 2nd rounder, I mean, someone saw something.

Food for thought for sure.

For the Cardinals. Every year the Cards take someone higher than you think when they pick in the 8-15 spots of teh draft, look at Tom Knight, Calvin Pace, Bryant Johnson heck even at the time David Boston was said to go a bit lower than Arizona had selected him. I feel Rogers is one of those guys they would do that with. I have noticed the Cardinals and Giants both like to do that.

Also for the CB position being selcted there, I think Travis Henry will end up in Arizona before the draft.

I believe that EE and Myers both have 2 years left now and Brown will be a 1st right of refusal FA so to speak with a 8 mill SB attached. Pryce (unless he is truly not recovered) will be here for at least 2 years.

Warren is the only player set to depart next year. If we go DL it would be at DT not DE IMO maybe a tweener like Cody.

TNS, once it gets to rd 6 and 7 I kind of tried my hardest to fill some needs but a lot of it is taking guys that I think will go that round and trying my hardest to plug them in.

Think of the grades you could get if you applied yourself to your homework like this, Dog! Don't think the Iowa selection at #25 escaped my notice either! Kidding aside, it's a hell of an effort. You have a future in someones war room! Did George help you at all on this?

Yeah, I know... and I agree with the sentiment that anybody who has the patience to break out a 7 rounder doesn't deserve too much criticism.

I am pissed that you squeezed an Aggie right in between Oakland's latter two 6th rounders though!

Nice job but your Iowa roots show picking Roth over Shaun Cody. Just to nit pick - I like Deandrea Cobb, but he is a Q clone so he does not seem to fit. Also I do not see the Broncs taking a QB unless it is someone they like that really takes a dive

Well you hit the needs right on the head, being a bit of a Notre Dame homer, I'd prefer something like Tuck/Seward if you're going ILB, DE.... but Canty/Rudd aint bad either. Anyhow, like Step said, how can you be that critical of someone that pounded out a 7 rounder?

DeAndra Cobb was drafted in the 6th because he is the best damn return man in all the land. Something we need. Brandon Payne can compete with the youngsters and is a heck or a punt returner.

I'll say first off this draft for the Texans makes more sense than most of the "pros" I've been seeing. At least you pick d-linemen that might actually work in a 3-4.

BTW, the Texans did *not* wind up with KC's seventh-rounder for P Steve Cheek. Apparently, the condition was that Cheek had to be active for three straight games and the Chiefs managed to avoid this. The Chiefs still have that pick.

As for the Broncos choices, I'll just call them plausible. Roth is a nice choice but I just can't picture Denver taking a DL with their first pick after what they've done this off-season. If anything, they have too many DLs right now.

I stiill like idea of drafting at least one defensive lineman and and one Cornerfor the DefenceThe Broncos also need a offensive guard plus a Qb. Adding a running back and wide receiver would also be nice. I also like idea of trading down to pickup a extra draft pick. After the Bronco decided to keep pryce this how I hope Broncos draft. The Broncos trade down in draft with Pittsburgh and pickup a third rounder,.1 Justin Miller 2 Logan Mankins 3a Kay J. Harris 3b Dave Green 3c George Gause. The Broncos failed to get a wide reeiver but I'm still happy with Ron,Ashly,Watts,Luke and Jackson with B.j. Johnson on practice Squad. I would also think about drafting Ware , Tavis Johnson ,Clayton, orBaas in the first and Patterson ,Fryre ,Casitto ,Perkins , or Turk in the second.

I like the fact that this mock on the surface looks like it helps the chiefs defense. However, Pollack does not translate to the Strong DE in the Pros, some even have him playing the 3-4 LB, and that means the Chiefs would have Pollack, Jared Allen, AND Carlos Hall all rotating at the RDE spot! Talk about wasted resources!

Then Browner as the CB help in round two. LMAO! That dude has bust written all over him! Lenny has speed at least to go with his height. Wherever he goes next year he is going to get owned! Please be the Chiefs! Please be the Chiefs!!

Anthony Bryant in the fourth takes the cake though. He is Junior Savaii without any quickness whatsoever. Pure Pylon DT. Tatum will blow by him before he gets out of his stance.

Rep for screwing the Chiefs "D" in the draft again Carl "BD" Peterson!

If that's the way it went down for the first 24, I'd want the Broncos to get Khalif Barnes. Foster & Barnes on the bookends would give this team years worth of offensive power. And if Craig Bragg was still on the board and the Broncos didn't pick him at 101, I'd be crying. It's all subjective though. Good job. I know a lot of work went into it. We just all have our faves.

Im not a big Pollack fan or Browner fan either, but ya know neither will fall to day two like they should. Perfect draft for the Chiefs huh?

Also it sounded like to me that the Chiefs were gonna have Jared Allen and Carlos Hall battle it out, I gotta believe Allen will win, and then get another DE. Keep in mind Hall had a poor year. He is a bit overrated by many because of his rookie seasona and an "Ok" 2nd season.
