Default Use Pryce to trade up in second round

Everybody talke about using Pryce to trade up in first but what about trding up in second. Dallas used to beinterested in Pryce. What if the Bronco trade up in the second with Dallas .Dallas trdes their second plus a fouth rounder and Denver trade their second plus Pryce. It would be better then just releassing Pryce. I could see the Broncos drafting Justin Miller and Dave Baas or Math Roth.

Good idea. Trading up in the second does seem more logical than trading up in the first...at this point.

BS. We moved up in first with Oneil last year. There were talks that we were gonna cut him too. Trevor is worth more than Oneil, i don't care how much money he demands.

One problem. Deltha was in a rookie contract. His salary was 1/10th of what Pryce would get.

Why do you think Droughns was able to be traded when Alexander and Edge are franchised and acting like their shiat doesn't stink? They could care less just like Pryce. Both would love to just cash in this year. At least I would. I get really amused when these players biatch and whine about the franchise tag. Woodson is carrying a 10 million dollar tag. Do you honestly think he wants to be traded? Do you think Pryce wants to be traded? Do your think Brees wants to be traded?

Only if they can get another big signing bonus. Hell, Surtain wants a 12 million dollar SB just to be traded and Miami wants a second to boot. What a hoot for K.C.

I'm hoping K.C. falls for it.

no, pryce is in different situation. first of all pryce ain't franchised. second of all, these other guys are supposedly healthy. pryce cannot in his right mind demand what he would have deserved if he had played last year...

now i'm really sick of talking about pryce issue. i only responded because it may affect our draft. i have a feeling we might have to give a little, probably in forms of cash, in order to make the trade happen, since everyone knows we intend to dump this guy. man, sometimes you just wonder about what kind of idiots these people are. i mean they go out of their way to make this guy's draft value down.

as i see it, we probably want to trade mostly for one reason: to get him play outside our division. which means we will have to eat up significant amount of salary for probably a second day pick. shoot. we might have to give THEM a second day pick as well to get rid of him out of our division.

what a pathetic situation.

i have to admit, though, what they did we droughns was a fantastic job.

I would call Philly and see if they would swing #31 and #35 for Pryce and # 25. They need another Dlineman and would have a better shot at one of the top WRs. That would be getting a late 2nd value for Pryce and they have a lot of picks, Cap room and may want a Vet.

I really like this idea. I think with #31 and #35 we could take Demarcus Ware and Matt Jones respectively. I woould love that combination if it came to pass.

I think Ware would contribute immediately as a situational guy. Matt Jones would immediately improve our red zone offense with his presence alone, and I think he'll develop into completely dominant player in a year or two. He's the perfect complement to guys like Ashley and Darius, and his development would be well timed for Rod's departure.

I would add an early second day selection though.

I could see this happening just because the Eagles are on the Broncos' schedule this year. It always seems to work out that big signings/trades always involve teams that face each other in the coming season....

I would rather have Pryce then trade him anyway.

Matt Jones isn't going to make it out of the first round. There is so much hype around him. I even saw a mock draft where we pick him up at #25.

Yes, we should definitely keep Pryce and hopefully he can bust up some QB's.
