Default New 3 round mock from the Great Blue North Draft Report

Heres who they have Denver picking:
1 CB Justin Miller
2 DT Jonathon Babineaux
3 RB Ryan Moats
3 P Dustin Colquitt

The link:
http://www.gbnreport.com/2005projection.htm

Not bad. Jonathon Babineaux at 6-2,286 he looks to be the lightest and fastest DT in the draft. Perhaps he can play DE also. Maybe a good player in the nickle packages. Maybe even 3-4 packages. From what I heard Colquitt is the top punter in the nation. Would be a great pick. I don't know much about Miller and Moats. If anybody has profiles on any of the four guys, can you post 'em. This is one of the better mocks I think I've seen, considering how many d-lineman we've picked up in FA. Although I would substitute the first pick with Thomas Davis or Josh Bullocks. Unless there is some good safety talent in next years draft I don't know about. Lynch won't be playing more than two seasons.

Im actually really warming up to Matt Jones as our first pick. Now let me state that I would hope our first pick would be a very late first or early 2nd.

Jones/Bass=Redzone scoring!

That is the first draft I have seen where Denver selects my man Justin Miller.
WIth limited picks does anyone see Denver getting a punter?? Maybe in 6th or 7th BUT not in the 3rd!!

Justin Miller

Official Bio College: Clemson Height: 5-93/4
Position: Cornerback Weight: 201
Class: Junior 40-Yard: 4.44
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Playmaker in the secondary...Has great ball skills and a knack for making the big play...Very good speed and quickness...Fluid hips in coverage...Excellent athletic ability...Has a lot of experience despite being just a true junior...A threat to score every time he touches the ball...Physical and likes to hit...Also a dynamic return man.
Weaknesses: Only average size...Had a down year as a sophomore...Gambles too much in an effort to make the big play...Inconsistent and will lose his concentration...Can be too confident for his own good.
Notes: Has just about everything the NFL is look for in a top cornerback...Not a finished product by any means, but a playmaker like this won't last long come Draft Day '05.

I don't know if it was all that bad.

Top 5 DT by most rankings
Top 5 CB by most rankings
#1 punter by most rankings
And a RB that most project in the third round...compares to Domanick Davis.

I'm willing to bet all my vCash that the Broncos don't draft any of those players.

Jones can play WR, Im thinking he may turn out to be a bigger faseter Eddie Mac. 6'6' with mad hops, even at 4.5 speed he would be very hard to cover.

Bass is a road grader at G would be instant improvement for short yardage/Goalline and would hill in for Hamilton when he moves to center.

DB - I hope you aren't paying for their service. They are traditionally one of the worst services out there.

At least these guys did some Broncos research. Most big name mock drafts have the standard 'Denver is going to the 3-4...so...Demarcus Ware' projection. They don't even know that Denver is not in fact changing defenses.
