Nothing new about this........ Priest and Gonzo have always been conditioned and prepared for training camp (unless holding out for a better contract!)
Morton on the other hand.....well, he knows he is history after June 1.

Go ahead and make your excuses why your two biggest stars aren't working out with their teammates. I thought this was suppose to be the season to get it done for Vermeil? If your two biggest stars aren't there, it doesn't set a good example about training, preparation and discipline to the younger players.

BTW, when I read stories like this, I feel even more blessed that we have Rod Smith.

This is an excellent display of "leadership" and explains why the Chiefs will once again, fall short of the mark.

not Priest. LJ's a better back, imo. Gonzo, yeah.

The Duke made the offseason program year in year out. So did Sharpe. That's why they went Bowl. They were in the weight room every day pushing their lesser talented teammates.

how lame. Their team signs 3? def FA's and their tow "best" players can't be bothered for the offseason workout program. Classic. And then the attempts at deflecting with even lamer smack. Thanks guys. Made my day.

Chemistry dipsh*t...chemistry.

Trying to fix the Chiefs D is like polishing a turd. Scrub as hard as you want it's still ****. And now your offense is going to "work out" on their own. This is bad news for the Information Minister. But I have no doubt you'll be able to spin this thing 3-2-1 GO!

I'd go for LJ for Tater straight up, but not the gimp who broke his hip. Gonzo would be nice. I think he's got the passion to win. He played hurt for sure. He should show up for the offseason workout, even if he doesn't do all the workout. He could lift a little and rest his feet. The Duke did that. RSmith did it the year after he played with broken feet. Face it, you got two chronically out of shape young DTs. What a message.

Well if you guys get the opportunity to spread that out over 5 years you will be paying him a lot more than $8.5 mill...

Good effort on your behalf but you are going to have to do better than that in justifying the dumbest offseason signing of 05.
