UK - "Every Breath You Take" by The Police

No surprise this since the British were always cooler than us when it came to tunes.

I still love that song. It came on the radio the other day while I was waiting to get my kids at school. The kid that was with me told me she didn't like that song, and asked if I could put Lou Bega on.

I still like "Every Breath You Take" just because of how dark and twisted it is... and the fact that couples the world over were saying, "This is our song!" In addition to being a pretty cool tune, it gives me a chuckle.

Hey dingleberry You're old!

I'm just having fun with ya, bill, but I did love that song when I was about 9 or 10.

The stuff we listened to back then didnt chart I guess. Eh..... the whole music scene commenced sucking when Diamond Dave split from Van Halen.......

This was a stellar show though.

I can deal with that. I like them and even more so the Drifters were good. Moving in unison and all. Classic stuff

I looked up my HS graduation (May, 1989). It came up "Forever Your Girl" by Paula Abdul. Cheesy song, but Paula could certainly dance...ooh yeah...
