My poor wife works at Wal-Mart and I could tell you some real horror stories ...

She buys most of the groceries there, but NEVER the meat.

Well I’m officially off the meat thing at Wal-Mart……..I can’t eat it anymore, the last few times I’ve gotten sick and felt weak…I thought either I was getting old or Wal-Mart’s meat has officially poisoned me.

I wish I had my own cow so I could have fresh meat.

so you are saying OD that their meat is tainted?

I use this little secret myself its called hunting season. Much cheaper and it helps insure 500 people and chemicals have not touched my meat.

do you know of somewhere else to go? We usually go to Crest but I'm suspecting they also gas their meat...I'd like to find a place/chain that doesn't.

That’s my problem, I don’t know where else to go, I’m not big on Crest’s meat either………

Maybe I’ll just stick to chicken for now

I hate Walmart...except some cleaning stuff is cheaper. I only buy what I don't eat there. except for soda.

Our Walmart is just now expanding to groceries...I don't plan on buying meat there. I'll stick to the local market.

Man I hate antelope…HATE it.

I use to hunt back in the day in high school and my dad and brothers still do….and I tell my mom to never make antelope when I go back home.

It tastes like rotten gamey sagebrush to me

Wal-Mart meat is creepy. Ever see those rotisserie chickens they sell? They are so scrawney you can throw away the wings and legs. Concentration camp chickens or something.

Their meat is horrible. I'm used to Iowa meat, and down in Pensacola it tasted like Nutuia or something. IPB beef out of Sioux City is good. The least expensive store in town has the biggest meat department and three people on staff all the time custom cutting. Wal-Mart is fine for some things, but don't buy their meat. It's from funky town. The Fareway store has great butterfly chops for 1.99 all the time.

I know there are some in your area , and if you dont buy meat in bulk , alot of sell Meat like a Supermarket Chain ...... and if that isnt what you want , as far as meat goes , Safeway is about the Best
