I remember reading Lepsis's contract structure that gave me the feeling that is was no more than a one year deal, the specifics I can not remember. So that got me to thinking today..........Was George Foster drafted to be a long term solution on the left side or is he stuck being a RT?
With Alexander signing and already having Carswell and Putz is there a chance they are thinking about putting Carswell at RT and grooming Foster at LT with Alexander and Putz as the TE's? This is really a reach I realize that but I am tired of talking about the DL and the lack there of. |

Carswell isa 33 years old. I don't think he will be groomed for any starting position. He could get moved back to tackle this year, but I think his roster spot with the Broncs is in serious jeopardy. Foster was originally drafted to be a LT, but they did not think he was ready yet. Lepsis did a workmanlike job there last year - better than I expected. Herc or someone else will know th contract better than I, but i think it is a longer term deal that can be voided after next year and maybe future years.

When he re-did his deal, they said he could void it after next season. That's all I know.
