This mock will try to select player who will most likely be still on the board when we pick.
1st round Khalif Barnes OT 6' 5" 315lb Washington Luis Castillo DT (DE in a 3-4) 6' 3" 305lb Northwestern I think denver goes with barnes because he could play LT for the next 10 years and we would be set at the tackle position. I hope that they would take Castillo but Shanny never dafts what you think he should and they have said that The DL is not that impressive. So they take the next Foster for the OL. 2nd round Vincent Jackson WR 6'6" 234lb Northern Colorado David Baas OG 6' 5" 320lb Michigan Justin Tuck OLB, DE 6' 5" 268lb Notre Dame If Baas is still there when they pick they take him but its a slim chance he will so they take Tuck who can be a OLB in a 3-4 or play DE on passing downs in a 4-3 3 RD round (comp pick) Sione Pouha DT, NT 6' 3" 325lb Utah Matt Jones (WR, H-back.QB) 6' 6" 242lb Arkansas I think the broncos take a chance on Jones he can play like Sharpe i n the H back position or the slot. Defense will have to account for his size and speed. They have said that they would like another WR and jone has a lot of poteintal. 6th round Scott Young OG 6' 3" 312lb BYU A.J. Lindsay DT 6' 3" 305lb Temple Shanny really want to fix the OL so he take Young who is very Strong and Athletic and fits the Broncos scheme. 7th round Matt Payne P 6' 4" 234lb BYU Manuel White FB 6' 3" 250lb UCLA Shanny like his players to be able to play multiple positions so he take Payne who can also kick FG and Kick off duties. He is also big enough with his speed to be a factor on kick off coverage ( A kicker that like to tackle is a rare thing) |

Ah-Hah - a Utah homer
Doubt it will happen, but it would be fun to have Jackson and Jones on the field together. Would be nice to get one of them. Like you say, Broncs tend to surprise, but I would be shocked to see an OT in round 1. They don't have a legit starting DE on the roster right now, assuming Pryce is gone, and they seemed pretty happy with Lepsis and Foster last year. OG is another issue. |

why draft a OT when Lepsis still has a lot of years left in him and Foster is good to go.
Draft d-line. |

Barnes at 25
? Not the brightest selection... If we really want to take him we can trade down to the beginning of round 2 and he'll still be there. Also, the Broncos are very pleased with Lepsis production so there's no need there. Other than LB, S and CB there's no position we're so set at with our starters... |
