Default Miami CB Antrel Rolle ran in the low 4.4 range

Inside the League reports Miami CB Antrel Rolle ran in the low 4.4 range (4.41 to 4.42) at the Hurricanes' pro day Thursday, March 3, in Coral Gables, Fla. Considering that his post-40 workout was equally as impressive, and he ran on a slow surface (damp grass), his performance has the potential to move him ahead of West Virginia's Adam Jones as the top cornerback in the draft.

actually here is what he really ran from nfl.com

Rolle (6-0 5/8, 197) ran twice for times of 4.49 and 4.52. He had a 37-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-3 long jump, a 4.01 in the short shuttle, an 11.43 in the long shuttle, and a 6.70 in the three-cone drill.

There's no official time on Rolle or any other player at their pro day. Tampa clocked him at 4.38 and an anonymous team clocked him at 4.52. Most teams had him in the low 4.4 range. Teams like to keep their times to themselves. A lot of the info that comes out is from agents or teams that aren't interested in a certain player.

Rolle probably solidified himself as a top-10 pick by running well. The biggest question for him is recovery speed and I think he proved he's pretty fast. He's a big corner and is an effective blitzer and tackler. He weighed in at 201 in order to show he wants to be a corner, not a safety.

Frank Gore ran times between 4.58 and 4.65, which is pretty good for a guy coming off two torn ACL's in the past 3 years. He's lost a lot of weight since the end of the season, something he really needed to do, and something I wish he would have done before the season, not after. Gore's never been a speed burner. He's got decent speed, but what made him so special in his true freshman season, before the knee injuries, was his incredible vision and cutting ability.

Gore was the reason Portis came out early. Gore was a delight to watch, but his past season with the canes was nothing great, if not disappointing. It takes 2 years to recover from an acl injury. He might surprise the team that drafts him in the lower rounds. IMO, he would be a steal on the second day of the draft. It is possible to recover from 2 torn acl's(jamal lewis comes to mind). If Gore is on the board in the 6th, I hope denver selects him.
