We need one...badly. Graham was targeted twice with a drop and an offensive PI call. Quinn & Gronkowski were active which is the best thing I can say about them. I'm not trying to turn this into shoulda kept Scheffler thing, but we need to address this position at some point. This offense doesn't use the TE as much as the previous one, but if we throw it out there we need someone who can catch it. Hopefully we can address this in the offseason, I think we'll be shopping for a new #1 TE anyway might as well get one that can catch.

Thats another thing...
When the **** did you see an NFL game with 3 offensive PI calls? Refs get a memo to make lousy calls all day? WTF. ![]() |

I would have been nice to have Jermaine Gresham today.

Blah, who needs that?
This offense doesn't need a pass catching TE. Which is crazy with all the footballs flying around. |

Mcd scheme doesn't require pass catching TE's.

If you throw to the TE, you need one that can catch it. The 3 we have are extra linemen.

In Graham's defense, that was a horrible pass on the throwback screen.
Good thing DT put it in a couple plays later. |

Grahams pass was badly thrown but we definitely miss having any sort of threat at TE.

But, there may have been one I'm not remembering. Graham is definitely a blocking TE, primarily. He's got good hands. He actually contributed some key catches last year. This year has been rough for him. But, our problems don't lie in the passing game. |

+1 Popps....Our problems don't lie in the passing game! Although it would be nice to have a TE that can catch and take advantage of slow LB's. It would be nice to still have Scheffler though! He made more big catches even being hurt all the time than Graham and his huge contract!

He could catch better than Graham with one arm tied behind his back! Just keep blocking Graham! Overpaid loser! Of course McD-bag probably loves him because he used to be a Patriot!

Broncos ran for 145 yards today. Denver ran for 127 yards in the 2008 game. Just sayin. Since members of this board continue to make ridiculous statements about ex players. Maybe if we had the 98 squad out there today we would have pulled it out, huh? Fantasy is fun. ![]() |

Yes. You are a dick. Not an honorable one dripping with AIDS, but a small one that likes to spend time with Bob. The TE in this offense was like the FB in Shanahan's offense. How often did any of Denver's FB's make up a large % of the passing game? Why dont you understand that the TE is never going to be a focal point in this offense? That is what makes you a small, pathetic, wrinkly microdong. Dick. ![]() |

I'd settle for a run-blocking offensive lineman.

So let me understand this. You want a guy on the roster who is listed as a TE, but cant block and whose sole purpose for being on the roster is to make an impossible 3 yard catch once in awhile? And I am the moron? Way to speak logic, microdong. ![]() |
