Look at that picture. Owens was right about Garcia. I wonder if he has a matching Prada bag?

I used to believe Garcia had the gayest voice in the league but then i heard J.P. Losman (sorry to rag on one of your boys waffle....hmm no wonder why u like him) on one of those Fox Sports shows one time. Especially his laugh, god that was awful.

What a Saturday Night Live existence this guy lives in.
Remember Pat? ![]() Nobody knew if it was a guy or a girl, and there was your comedy. Har! Then you had "The Girl With No Gaydar." ![]() She's hitting on gay dudes thinking she's found the motherload of sensitive and romantic guys. I laughed. Ladies and gentelmen, I bring you "The Eccentric Straight Guy Who Can't Convince Anyone He's Not Gay." ![]() I hope Jeff Garcia has a sense of humor about it all... |

I think the fact that Shanahan has extended this offer just shows that he's learned something from the Griese situation. I don't buy the idea that Shanahan's fate is tied to Plummer, no matter how fatalistic the "Plummer Helpers" want to be about it. I think Shanahan's fate is tied into the roadmap that he sells Bowlen. If Bowlen can sit down at the end of the year and say to himself, "the future looks bright," he'll hang his hat on Shanahan.
Personally, I anticipate that we might see some more fireworks in this area come draft day because of this. Nothing gets owners more excited than shiny new toys, and if Shanahan managed to swing a meaty prospect, he'll buy himself another three years. At least. |

I hope Shanny's got something in the works, up his sleve, whatever. There's gotta be some plan if he's going to let go of Pryce and Heyward.

I guess it's just me. If anyone would've said the Broncos fate was going to be Jake Plummer with Jeff Garcia as backup? At one point I just couldn't have imagined it. I'm still not sure I can convince myself the reality would be a good thing.

GArcia will go where he has the best chance to play. Detriot, plan and simple, there he will be dealing with a young QB that's on the bubble and have a coach that knows him inside and out.

There were a couple of times last season that I believe had Garcia been in the bullpen, Shanahan would have pulled Plummer and let Jeff have the reigns. |

Garcia's arm strength is roughly equal to Jake's, and he has even more mobility and footspeed at a full sprint. Probably makes better decisions with the ball (with a solid offense).
It would make an interesting competiton. Even more so when people call for Jake's scalp with every pick, and yell for Garcia. Just think...the first full blown qb controversy in about 20 years! ![]() |
