Anyone else looking forward to this movie? It's scheduled for Halloween '05. It does appear to be rehashing the look and feel of Nightmare Before Christmas (no surprise, since they're both Tim Burton films), but it should be fun. I really like the stop-motion movies and am glad to see a new one being made. The Rankin & Bass stop-motions were terrific - Year Without a Santa Claus, Mad Monster Party. I showed my nephews Nightmare Before Christmas and now we have to watch it every time they visit. Here's a trailer for The Corpse Bride -

It looks like stop motion, but I think it's really computer animation, and very Well done. I'm not sure if I understand Burton's fascination with the macabre tho...

*The company making this is Vinton Studios. They are the animation firm that used to be run by Will Vinton of Claymation fame. The man behind the California Raisin commercials...if you're old enough to remember. ![]() Last edited by Candy Cigarettes; 01-29-2005 at 06:36 PM.. |

Remember this guy? He was in Domino's Pizza ads in the late '80s. He was very popular and a terrific marketing success. They sold Noids merchandise and even made a Noids video game. The Noid enterprise came to a screeching halt when a man dressed in a Noid costume was beaten to death by a gang of hoodlums. Or so the story goes.... |

Tim Burton is very good, but I swear that he, Johnny Depp, and Danny Elfman were those Goth wirdos at your school in another life.
