Default And1 MixTape Tour, Pepsi Center last night...

I know that basketball fans are the minority around these parts, but I figured I'd make a post for any hoops fans that have the AND1 Mix Tape tour coming to their cities. If you have an opportunity to go to one of these events, avoid it like the plague, unless you get free tickets.

It was in Denver last night, and me and my boy headed on over to Pepsi Center to watch it. It was quite lame, a huge let down. I quickly realized that AND1 is really only cool when they edit it down to just the sweet dunks and such. Otherwise it's just sloppy basketball, and despite what some people will say, not one of the players last night which I saw play had NBA level talent. Not even close.

I lvoe watching mixtapes, but you're right, seeing it in person isnt nearly as good as watching it. I checked it out 2 years ago when they came to the Convo Center(where Cleveland State plays) and while I enjoyed my time, it was sloppy basketball. Guess it made it worth it though because when they do throw down a nasty, you go crazy!

as for NBA talent, you're right also. A year or two ago, Skip to my lou tried out for the Sonics, and didnt get past the 1st cut. I'm sure you know that Skip is one of the main and1 players so that says a lot.

Most people like Hot Sauce the best, I'm partial to Sick Wit it or Spider, Spide's got some hops!

Skip To My Lou (AKA Rafer Alston) played for Miami last year and currently plays for Toronto.
