We overlooked a large group of fans that will probably help - the Buccs fans...

I just registered at their site & started a thread there...

Good point. I've heard that he's still well-respected among Bucs fans and I'm sure they'll chip in for this effort.

Exactly...I was reminded by the fact that they still have all their TB stuff up on their site & my exboyfriend (TB fan) sent me a message, and I remembered how upset he was that they were losing Lynch to us...

I actually ran into a Buc fan at the opening game against the chefs this year. He was pissed they let Lynch go. Could not say enough good things about him.

Count me in.

I just sent an e-mail to the site using a similiar outline as that of TJ's.

There's so many reasons to do this, it's a no-brainer.

-Whether you're doing it just because you're upset at the NFL for tarnishing the image of a class individual such as John.

-Because you're upset at the NFL for taking away from the game we love.

-Just showing John that we DO infact support him and the physical nature he brings to the game.

-and it supports a very good cause put forward by the John Lynch Foundation.

Thanks to all those who provided information and motive to do this. Just another great perk to being a member of the greatest Broncos fan site on the net.

Classiest board on the net comes through... You people make me proud to be a Broncos fan. Sending some funds to a worthwhile charity is very nice!

all i know is that im REALLY sick of the hypocrisy and wussification of the nfl.

its friggin sickening.

theyre actually saying that if clark had caught the ball, there's no penalty and no fine.
because he bobbled it, its a penalty AND a 75k fine?

phukk you nfl.

thats the most idiotic thing i think ive ever heard in sports.

worse is that the media morons actually go along with it.
why?
because most of those losers have never actually PLAYED sports.

so basically the nfl's "message" is that a safety is supposed to use his wondertwin superpowers to definatively know if the pass is caught before hitting the player?

what a joke.

it was a perfectly legal and mechanically sound tackle.

this "defenseless receiver" bull**** needs to stop...NOW.
seems to me there arent any less injuries now as there were back when they actually played football instead of pansyball, so whats the point of all this?

let them play.

Just was watching NFL LIVE on ESPN and they did a reel on the best plays of the year. Guess what? They showed ALL of lynch's hits one right after the other, I think it was 6 different hits in all. The latest one of course was included...

That was awesome... Hopefully there will be a lot of fans who look up his foundation and join in... It would be a great to see the fanbase react.

Yep, the emails must have gone through...

Thanks to Scott & Dave for mentioning this - They brought up both the orangemane, this thread/fund it's self, and the John Lynch Foundation's website.

It's probably not a coincidence that Lynch came on the radio within seconds - His wife is well aware of what we're trying to do.
