With the Nuggets firing Bzdelik yesterday, I could not help but think about Mike D'Antoni. Why did the Nuggets fire the guy? I thought he did a good job in 1999 with what he had to work with in a season where a team play three nights in a row a lot. I felt had he stayed long-term, the Nuggets would have done well. Look what he is doing in Phoenix. He might be coaching the Western All-Stars at the Can in the All-Star Game.

At least, D'Antoni got his revenge by baiting the Nuggets to take Skeeta when the Nuggets should have drafted Caron Butler.

Of course, most Nuggets fans never heard of D'Antoni because Nuggets basketball existed when Carmelo Anthony came to town.
