Adopt-a-Bronco:
Prima Materia
Default Freedom Fighter of the Year

1) Anthony Gregory (archive) – Young man who is a prolific writer and always focuses on issues from a freedom perspective. Not only writes for STR but also has been featured on Lew Rockwell, Antiwar.com, Rational Review. Seems to save some of his best for the Root.

2) Jim Davies (archive) – An old pro who is an enemy of the state and freely shares his wealth of information. Not just content to talk about freedom, but puts forth ideas for implementing freedom and fighting the state.

3) Fred Reed (archive) – Unique, hard-hitting writing style. Fred doesn’t pull any punches, and tells it like he sees it. Fred is not PC and proud of it. Fred also writes for Lew Rockwell.

4) Lew Rockwell - The godfather of the modern freedom movement. Star of his own website lewrockwell.com. Always promotes an anti-state, anti-war, pro-market approach in everything he says and does. We need more Lew Rockwells in the world.

5) Ron Paul – Maybe the only person in Washington , D.C. who understands what freedom is; surely the only elected person. Is nicknamed “Dr. No” by fellow lawmakers for always refusing to go along with their unconstitutional state power/money grabbing ideas. Should be called “Dr. Right” for always exposing their worthless, lame-brained schemes for what they are. Ron Paul is a true champion of freedom.

6) Paul Craig Roberts - 2004 was a year of awaking for Dr. Roberts, when he truly became a defender of freedom. He went on a one-man crusade to expose the lies and perfidy of the Bush administration and the neoCons. This former Wall Street Journal associate editor, National Review contributing editor, and Assistant Treasury Secretary in the Reagan administration, found out who his true friends were, as most of his former associates not only turned their backs on him, but stabbed him in the back. I don’t know how many others noticed his achievements, but I sure did, and want to say thank you Dr. Roberts for standing up for truth and freedom.

7) John Pilger – One of only a few investigative reporters who are willing to take on the state. He has exposed the truth about British and US war crimes and genocide in Yugoslavia , Palestine , Afghanistan , Iraq , and Diego Garcia. Also does battle with politicians and the mainstream media, showing how they invent sanctimonious excuses to justify state terrorism and crime. It is a transgression against humanity that Mr. Pilger and his documentaries are completely ignored by the mainstream media in the US .

8) Honorable mention: Ramsey Clark – A former U.S. Attorney General, Mr. Clark continued in the drive he started in 2003 to impeach the Bush Administration for war crimes and continued to support the anti-war movement.

Diego Garcia? Surely you jest.....

Did it ever occur to you that his writing and producing movies about the genocide and war crimes in Diego Garcia is why this clown isn't taken seriously?

Diego Garcia.....sounds more like Garcia Broncos' left coast cousin.

The Bush Davidian w/ commitment phobia who unconditionally swallows second-hand right-wing disinfo about Moore's work accusing others of being "gullible?"

That's rich.

Bush Crowning has big donations pouring in

His owners are spending lavishly to buy the emporer some clothes

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...tionspouringin

Soldiers will dance, some with both legs, at Bush's second inauguration, a record
$40 million-plus celebration for "a nation at war" financed by some of the same
big donors who bankrolled Bush's re-election campaign.

The president's private inaugural committee, calling on corporate and individual donors
to contribute as much as $250,000 apiece, has struck a military-minded theme for a
three-day series of events leading to the swearing-in on Jan. 20.

"Celebrating Freedom, Honoring Service" is the slogan for a festival that will start with
a ceremony at an indoor Washington arena "saluting those who serve," and close with
a collection of nine formal balls. The dances will include a Commander-in-Chief Ball open, admission free, to invited members of the military.

The American whore press continues to spin this fairy tale for the easily led. Bush, our chosen-by-God fearless leader, wants this to be all about the soldiers, some of whom will get to go for free if they get an invitation.

I guess if you know the right people and if you agree to sign the loyalty pledge,
they'll allow you to bask in Bush's glory for a few hours at this $40M bacchanalia.

Meanwhile, the country continues down its bloody and destructive path.

"I started shaking. I was throwing up. I couldn’t breathe. That’s when I knew
something was wrong. My body had never reacted to any kind of circumstance
that way. I can’t even be around people in large crowds. I’m constantly looking
over my shoulder. I think, ‘I’m going to die. Someone is going to be shooting at me.’
I’m in my car, and I’ll see something on the road and think it might be an explosive
and try to dodge it. I could cause a wreck. I could harm innocent people.”

You partake, incredibly and with relish, of more of Moore's fecal production than even his obese body can pinch off.

Honestly, I've never met anyone so enamored of the guy, and who's completely unwilling to consider that Moore is rarely entirely truthful.

BTW, what did you do, in the real world, to get your man Kerry elected?

Just curious, but why is using your right to speech, expression, and logical thinking considered being a traitor here now?(America) Why is it if you do not blindly follow the Bush administration and all their bumbled conquests you are on the "side" of the terrorists? I could never understand this, and perhaps never will. The idea of amesj is probably that we do exactly that, go after the REAL TERRORISTS and not a country that has nothing(well, it IS in OUR best corporate interest, you got me there)to do with the guise and excuse Bush used it as under 9-11?

The reason people "threaten" to move to Canada is because we had such pride and hope in this great nation that the millions of voters would see the deciet right in front of their eyes to make that positive choice to change leadership. This is not an opinion if you wish to debate the dictionary meaning behind negative and positive. If you wish to only see the thin layer on top of the Republican agenda, aka "Saddam is an evil ruler and he needed to be taken out for the Iraqi's freedom" then that is fine, you suffer from a lack of information and are totally ignorant. But to come in here and call him a "clown" for stating the OBVIOUS is perposterous. You are the clown. One day, we can only hope you learn to process information and factual events and decide if you wish to do evil or good. You will soon see these "clowns" who don't support Bush's agenda were correct all along, in a humane, compassionate, care about AMERICA as a country standpoint. If you enjoy killing off innocents in the name of excuse after excuse for shady corporate deals, that is also fine. Just admit it, and please don't hide under the guise of values and morality.

I'll keep this comment on file for the next time you accuse me of being immature, crass, boorish, or whatever. You're still the reigning poster boy for hypocrisy.

I've never met anyone who harbors such a blind hatred for the guy and who is completely unwilling to consider that Moore is at least correct in some of his assertions about the bush crime family.

Hint: A lot more than you, by your own admission, did to get any political candidate elected. Don't you feel even slightly hypocritical in judging the contributions of others when you've contributed nothing yourself?

Nevermind.

Personally i think that we citizens who are targeted are mere effigies by those who understand us better than we understand ourselves. they understand that they have to effect our way of life to make us get motivated to do something... to make a change in our gov't. the avg citizen in the world that may hate/dislike america isn't the hate/dislike of the american citizen - but we represent our gov't....

Really?

If this is true, then W*GS should be wanting to do for Moore what Monica did for Bill about now.

yep, in moore's naked truth dvd or whatever it was, his tv show he had for a short time - he makes comments on how he didn't wash his hands in the port-o-pot at a white house function, and he went to shake clinton's hand, and wasn't sure which was worse, pee or blood....
