Kansas basketball fans suck. They have no sense of humor what-so-ever. Then again, it is kind of cool to have your buddy point at a section and see nothing but Kansas fans giving you the bird.

One of my sports highlights, that's for sure.

I like the college cheers and jeers, when some baller screws up off the court, the KU fans let'em have it.

If Kobe would have had to travel to KU after his soiree in Eagle......

"NO MEANS NO!!!!, NO MEANS NO!!!"

Still the Jayhawks got punked by Roy Williams.. classic dump of all time by a coach.

That's why they flipped me off. Apparently, they didn't like my sign that read:

"I don't give a $*@# about Carolina right now" - Roy Williams

Meh, that's ok. The UTerus pep band is still my crowning achievement. Got them to flip me off at the NCAA tournament last year. Most people aren't insane enough to heckle a pep band 45 minutes before tip off of a game, but I'm not most people. Hell, I almost got kicked out of the CU-NU game 2 years ago 90 minutes before it started for heckling Nebraska's kicker.

Easy, now...as we all know, you can't blame every fan out there for one bad experience.

KU basketball fans are die-hard, but not all of us are rude. Now don't get me wrong, I won't enter Allen Fieldhouse against Mizzou without my "Muck Fizzou" shirt on

You could say the same thing for Chiefs fans...just because they don't have any brains doesn't mean they're all jerks.

Classic, props for the sign. Being a UNC fan and having Roy Williams back is turning us into a winner again.

Oh, I hate UNC too (my best friend is a die-hard Duke fan), but at least they win something occasionally. Kansas basketball is like UTerus anything -- talk TONS of crap, then don't do anything.

The Kansas fans also got upset with the:

Rock
CHOKE
Jayhawk

sign and chant we had going.

And, you know what? Kansas basketball fans don't give a $*@# about Roy Williams anymore, either.

Bill Self has proven his ability as a coach and we are proud to have him. SELF-Love!

Ugh, Lord do I hate Duke...so much. If it weren't for Michigan football, they'd be my most hated team, and thats saying alot considering how much I hate the Oakland Raiders.

Best thing Duke ever did, was their fans against Maryland lasy year chanting 'NOT OUR RIVAL!!" I was like hell yeah, they know that its Duke and UNC, as much as ESPN wants to put the Terps in our category it's not happening.

EVERYONE (except ESPN) knows that UNC-Duke is the best college basketball rivalry bar-none. That's one of those instances where I don't see how you can be a die-hard fan of one of those teams without hating the other. Luckily, I'm jsut a Duke fan. I don't like UNC, but I respect them (Dean Smith, etc.).

I just love the Duke crowd. Anytime you have people camping out for weeks at a time for tickets, you have great fans (which is why I respect aTm football).

PA Announcer: "Starting at guard, #42 Jerry Stackhouse"
Crowd (in unison): "Hi Jerry........YOU SUCK!!!"

Careful with the Self Love comment. You might cause some people like Tribbey who are infatuated with your picture to, um, well.........

I should probably just walk away from that comment actually.

KU students do the same thing...but the campers already have tickets, they actually camp out just to get good seats. It's crazy but it's fun.

Even KU fans had to love the Duke fans last year when they were actually doing the Rock Chalk chant against UNC.

Oh man, I remember that! God I love college basketball. One of the greatest sporting events ever was attending the first two rounds of the tourney in Denver last year. It was a lottery for seats and we were 10 rows up from one of the baselines. Incredible. One of three "goosebump" moments in my life for a sporting event too. At one point during hte UTerus - Princeton game, a few players from the Air Force team tried to sneak to their seats to watch the game (it was during hte first half, well over an hour before the Falcons would play) and one by one, each section started cheering them until they had a standing ovation IN THE MIDDLE OF THE UTERUS GAME! No one was paying attention to the game, just saluting the Falcons.

My best friend turned to me and said, "THIS is what college ball is all about."

How are you a Bronco fan in KC?? Did you get bannished for some ungodly sin while attending KU like taking an Anthropology class in the state of Kansas and actually showing up??

A buddy of mine was sent there by his company, and quickly asked for a transfer to NY.

Nuggz, you should've been with me heckling the players in the hotel before games.

Almost fought Todd Marijuanavich, told Haywood Jeffries off, called Dickerson washed up when he was with the Raiduhs, call Al Davis a greaseball etc....

Like many other KU grads, I just migrated to KC afterwards. It's close, I guess. I will hopefully be in Denver in the next year.

It's fun being in enemy territory though. Here in SD all the homegames were blacked out until like week 12, and all of sudden people are starting to get out thier faded SEAU jerseys and wearing them around!!!

I like attending the MAC tourney up here, it's held at the Gund Arena here in Cleveland and jsut fun time. And tell me tell you, you have so many schools that are as close as they are in the MAC, some rivalries are out there.

Best time was when Marshall played Western Michigan in round 1, after the Herd beat WM in the MAC championship game in football, the Herd fans started the 'JUST LIKE FOOTBALL!!" chants as Marshall won that game, just classic stuff.

This one is from a concert I performed in a few months ago. African Highlife Ensemble (hence the shirt). 3 straight hours of drumming, so that's why I look so bright red (that and the lighting).

The most creative and mean spirited fans belong to Stanford. It was in the mid to late '90's and they were playing Arkansas. The student section started chanting "Shallow gene pool!!! Shallow gene pool!!!" That's both irreverant and funny.
