I'd been wondering who to invite... a lot of my friends already have gmail, though. Offering them here is such a great idea.

I only give people invites if they promise to send one back to me.

Google is going to stop giving members invites because its soon to go out of beta.

I'm not a fan of Gmail personally, but it's due to it's security flaws.

But then i have a netscape account for all the spam and a secure email accnt through disinfo

Gmail has better security measures than nearly any non-government email server out there.

Further, you can use it as a free POP 3 account, store up to 1 Gig of data (basically an online locker for non .exe files) and access it from anywhere.

The best thing about Gmail is the name. Come on man, g-mail. For G's and playas only.

Yeah i guess i don't like how it's written into the TOS that the gov't can search your email without consent.

Gmail is for the people of mass and the masses of people. )

Whatever.

Paranoid and delusional.

What are you worried about the government seeing anyway? I mean, what do you use YOUR personal emails for? Illegal things? Hmm I wonder why you are so paranoid.

Alec,

I don't think the gov't needs to read my email. Nothing illegal goes through my email, due to my knowledge of carnivore anyway -

but i also have a pre-pay cell phone because it can't be tapped (they'd have to prove the # exists).

But seeing how you don't value anything except material goods, i wouldn't expect you to understand.
