Playboy Magazine Is Searching for First-Ever Iowa Playmate
Wednesday December 8, 11:06 am ET

CHICAGO, Dec. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Attention all Hawkeye State Hotties: Playboy magazine wants you!
As published in a New York Times graphic on November 21, Playboy has more fans per capita in Iowa than any other state in the nation, with 18.6 readers for every 1,000 residents (Source: Audit Bureau of Circulations; U.S. Census). But despite the magazine's popularity in the Hawkeye State, Playboy has never in its 50-year history had a Centerfold from Iowa.

Playboy is looking to change this statistic by holding a search for Iowa's first-ever Playboy Playmate on Thursday, December 16 and Friday, December 17 in Iowa City. For interview location and to schedule an appointment, interested candidates should call 312-401-7343.

Female Iowa residents who cannot attend the Iowa City casting can send one headshot and one full-body shot (bikini or nude), along with a clear and legible copy of a government-issued photo ID proving they are both a resident of Iowa and at least 18 years of age or older to Playboy's Chicago headquarters.

Entries must be postmarked by January 17, 2005; all submissions will be kept confidential. Polaroids, snapshots, color slides and digital images will be accepted. All photos submitted become property of Playboy and will not be returned.
