Different Conference...same old story
I haven't posted about the Hokies since their last loss...I felt it was bad luck(I typed 'college football' the other day and felt like I was tempting fate)...and since I don't care about the bowl....I'm letting it fly....conference championships are the only thing that is truely earned. Same old story though...Miami and VT playing for the championship. So I'm following the game for SoCal and Breck...

Hint: It wasn't before or at the start of the game 1st Set VT 1st series- all vanilla...and a bad hammy Miami 1st series Personal foul on Miami almost int VT brings more than 4 and a fumble called incomplete..score one for the refs-idiots VT 2nd series Still trying IMOH....bad hammy...sit him down Passing game is working to the TE in the middle...but false start on the offense after encroachment by the defense?! sweet punt to about the 14 Miami 2nd series Frank Gore looks slow...but looks good running in free space. Hokies need to do a better job outside 1st to the FB almost int'd again 1st...Moore talking smack Gore slammed up the middle Berlin under pressure...but calm Again...same thing to everett Miami cheerleaders looking good 4th...Mammy wants to go for it...burns a TO One handed Int in the endzone...willie Green...the best DB on the field VT 3rd series Scored 7 Two times with terrible spots....but the away team beat the bull**** 10 plays 80 yards Miami-3rd series 3 and out TV feed goes out VT must have went 3 and out Miami blocks a punt....cheating I'm sure.  7 up...still no TV feed VT next series....incomplete pass called a fumble Miami Series Miami fumbles on the sack..VT gets the ball back VT Miami fans are blowing whistles...caues their team to give up a first down Tech get a field goal after two key Miami sacks to end the half 2nd Set Miami first series Miami gets it first the won the toss in the 1st and defered Sack...and 3 and out VT first series Miami lined up offsides no call...fumble..that was an incomplete pass....the refs are doing everything they can to give the game to Miami Miami 2nd series I call this the holding series...Miami has held on every play and no call. Finally a holding call. TE everett injured after pulling a defenders facemask. Interesting that the injured hand is the one he pulled the facemask with.....Miami gets 3 10 up VT 2nd series Miami is blowing up the o-line Miami 3rd series Holding. 4 and out on 3rd down VT 3rd series Miami Cheerleaders looking great Miami still blowing up the VT o-line...3 and out Miami 4th series Berlin under pressure throws ball over the LOS...no call...Miami with another player(Moss) on the ground after an attempted clip. Now he's sacked. 3 and out. VT 4th series>4th Quarter 37 yard scamble by Randell....VT has to punt though....but pin Miami deep at their own six. Miami 5th series 3 and out VT 5th series 40 yard TD pass first play...Royal was led to much and made one hell of a catch...Miami blocks the extra point. Miami player was lined up in the VT backfield and no call?!?! Miami 6th series With all the punts today...hester finally gets a second chance at a return...holding Berlin in the shotgun..all day to throw but the Hokies only rush four...second team line too. O PI on Miami...weak call...based on the 2 mile away replay VT 6th series Humes for 29 yards to midfield 3rd and 6 now Miami defensive pressure pays off by making Randell jumpy Hester makes his longest return of the day...but it was sideline to sideline Miami 7th series Miami gets a first down throwing underneath Berlin throws into double coverage again..almost int'd Miami has 10 men on the field and burn a TO Flanker screen...Parrish falls down on purpose as he sees Tech defenders coming at the LOS Berlin under pressure...tipped pass...almost taken away Miami punts VT 7th series Humes runs twice for a first Randell gets a first...refs GIVE Miami a holding call VT gets a first down on the next play...God knew...God knew TO Miami....2:16 left in the game No first..Miami with no TO's....1:23 left on the clock VT takes delay of game on 4th down on the Miami side of the field Hester gives up yards and tackled at the 10 Miami 8th series 1:14 left 2nd and 2 after moss catch underneath bad snap tipped pass...almost int'd 3rd and 2 1:03 left another tipped pass by Davis while double teamed 4th down tipped again Game over!!! Game over Sugar Sweet! Sugar Sweet!!!!!!! ACC Champs...best conference in college football Hokies flagged for celebrating...gay Good games guys...good game....it was a pleasure...and I'm proud to play with you. |

2nd best, unless you don't include the SEC, then I agree that the ACC is the best.
