Default CU vs KSU...talk your smack here!

Friendly smack though..if we are capable!

This could be an interesting game, depending on which KSU team shows up. I saw CU in person last weekend vs KU. Had KU's 2nd string QB not gotten injured, CU would have gotten shredded. Oh, it would have helped it KU would have ran the ball more too.

Thats the key to the game for my Wildcats...RUN RUN RUN the ball, contain Purify, and get Klatt on the ground a few times. I've seen Klatt play well, and i've seen him play god awful.

Early betting line is KSU -2.5

Thoughts? Nuggets..got a cool "to quote..." for this game?

BTW..any locals know anything about Allen Webb? (The dude in my avvy). He is a local of Denver, CO..originally commited to Indiana, and now is KSU's second string (although he may be starting vs the Bluffies...) QB.

IF K-State gets over this hurdle, we'll most likely be looking at playing Oklahoma in December for the Big XII Title. However, this is a huge IF. We've NEVER been able to play well at Boulder.

I guess there's always a first time, and it HAS to be now.

Well, considering that I was supposed to be hangin with Saul at the game but have too much work this week, I am now bummed... Saul, I wish we could've hooked up for this one but, looking back, methinks that the game should've been far more a prominent role than it is now... What a bad year. I wish there was a reset button for the season so we could start over.

Seriously, I would've thought the Buffs could win this one until KSU manhandled Mizzou this week... now, I think KSU sleepwalks away with this one...

But the homer in me still says, 22-14 Buffs... I mean, c'mon... would I ever REALLY chose Ksu over da buffs? Good luck to ya this week KSU fans... its gonna be an ugly and unmemorable game either way...

You are wrong btw... Iowa State is in control of the North... if they win out, they get the North... (How pathetic)

Yeah, I wish I coulda went too..but all is well. Maybe next year you can come to Manhappenin

This game actually is playing a somewhat prominent role. IMO whoever wins this, gets the Big XII north title..even at 4-4, its still something. Think of it..a totally outmatched KSU or CU team going to Kansas City and beating the unstoppable OU..? Somewhere i've heard this tale before!

You are right there... I was one of the millions who never in a 1000 years would have thought that CU would have beat Texas in 2001 or KSU beating OU last year...

I would have said the same thing about them beating Nebraska too but look at what they did anyway... Hell, this after Nebraska just put a fresh whooping on Mizzou the week before... what a strange year in the north...

Eh..if I was here I could have told you NU was going to lose to ISU. Cept I wasn't..so your just gonna have to take my word for it! NU didn't look good at all vs Missouri, and the only reason they won is because:

1. Lincoln, NE
2. Gary Pinkel

I'd be surprised actually if NU makes a bowl game this year. They are 5-4 right now and have @OU (hahaha) and CU at home. I'll be rootin for the Buffs then...wouldn't that be awesome for CU to be responsible for ending their streak of 35 bowls in a row?

I know...I was overlooking Iowa State, but we own them. Colorado...not so much. As Saul pointed out, K-State is 2-2 in the last 4 games at Boulder, but it's always a struggle. If it's bad weather, I'm really scared...unless we find a way to get Sproles the ball more often.

I always have a good "to quote" for buffs games. I'll post more later in the week.

TO QUOTE BOWLING FOR SOUP

It wasn't supposed to be like this
Another dose of unhappiness
I gave it all and managed to get shot down yet again
So I got drunk
Had sex with all your friends
You told me to never call your house again

Because whichever team loses this game is gonna have a SERIOUS hangover the next day. What the hell happened this season? CU wasn't supposed to be great, but we should have at least had some offense. As for KSU, well, Saul can sum up how crappy they've been this season.

With BasketBuffs starting, and the Nugs playing (although that can be debated), I haven't heard a lot. CU is letting ZERO information out this week though. Apparently KSU doesn't like to give injury reports to the other team, so CU has shut down all information leaving the camp.

Ultimately, this could be the "Battle For Maurice Lucas". I still think he'll be a Buff when all is said and done (it's where HE wants to go, and that's ultimately what the decision will come down to), but it'd be nice to have CU kick some Wildcat ass to re-enforce the fact that we're a better place to be.

I did hear one rumor that Orange Force 1 might be heading to the game. Looking for confirmation (hint hint).

I will say that I'm salivating over the scenario that Saul posted about CU ending Nebraska's bowl eligibility streak. Oh, that'd be beautiful. Come on K State, do CU a favor and lose. Do you really want ISU to represent the North? I didn't think so.

CU 27, KJUCO 13

K-State will probably use two QBs in the Colorado game. We don't know exactly who is going to start, but the weekly press conference gave hints that Alan Webb will be starting. Dylan Meier should see some playing time, as well. Both QBs are capable of either looking great or playing like crap. Hopefully, they don't have their crappy game on in the same week...

I gotta get the confirmation going as well - we need to place a few calls to the campus to make sure we'll be able to park 'er there...

Regardless if she makes the trip -- Do *I* need to bring anything?

Yeah, I caught that and then decided to wait until somebody said, "What about KSU" and then I was going to say "they suck, too."

I've run out of patience, however, so I'll just tell you now: K-State sucks.

OU WILL win the National Championship this year. Wisconsin wouldn't stand a chance. Big 10 + 1 is WEAK....Not as bad as the Big XII North though, sorry guys... sad, but true...
