I switched over to CNN election night to see their reaction. THE ENTIRE friggin cast of characters were visibly upset as key states were falling to Bush. It was friggin comical.
On a somewhat related topic, a person with the name Candy Crowley should be hot. I heard Wolf Blitzer say "over to Candy Crowley for some reaction", my instinctual reaction was to check her out, needless to say I was pretty disappointed. She appears to over indulge in her namesake if you know what I mean. |

lol Bill, yep Candy needs to stay away from the buffet table. Actually she became very close to the Dole campaign in 1996. She isnt a liberal shill. I respect her actually. The rest of them are frauds. Bernie Shaw before he retired was professional even though everyone in the world knew he was a liberal. Wolf hasnt been bad. Woodruff is a disgrace.
Still CNN was better than Dan Rather and Ed Bradley jacking each other off under the table after states were being called for Kerry.

Dan Rather embarrassed himself, yet again. He needs to retire, immediately.
CNN was as dull as ever. Larry fking King? Are you kidding me? Fox and CBS kept it interesting. The rest sucked. |

I watched ABC coverage. I think Peter Jennings and George Stephanopolous kept the coverage on an even keel.

I watched MSNBC with Chris Matthews and Co. and some Fox News.
Both called Ohio for Bush before I went to bed (when it was pretty clear that even if 100% of the remaining votes went to Kerry/Edwards, it wasn't enough). I'm not sure why many networks refused to make the call even when 99% of the precincts were in. The margins in a couple other states were FAR closer, and they felt good calling those. Not sure where MSNBC had Ron Reagan - he never said anything. |

There were some real long faces on Fox early on, but they cheered up. I think I watched ABC mostly, because Tavis Smiley and G. Will were on there. But I switched back to Fox, which was surprisingly - to me - unbiased. They were of course biased, but they seemed remarkably objective on the facts. Maybe the distinction being their talking head commentary shows are more "flighty" than when they do hard news shows. I don't watch much TV news normally, certainly not fox. Matthews and Dobbs more so.

I did not watch much TV coverage. Was going to watch A&E's biography of Jeffrey Dahlmer instead, but forgot. As for web coverage,I thought the three majors and Fox were less than stellar. MSNBC was the most current.

I noticed many of the anchors, particularly the women, were visibly distraught. One covering the Florida election on NBC looked to be in tears when she was announcing Bush won the state. Elitist snobs.

I decided not to watch anybody. I put my browser on C-SPAN and kept refreshing all night. Sometimes just watching the raw numbers is easier to take than all the BS these pundits spout. I don't feel like I missed anything.

Fox was good.
But when I wanted to see a vote tally in any state, CNN was the best. |

I spent quite a lot of time watching "The Godfather" on American Movie Classics, dropping in on Fox/CNN/MSNBC occassionally.
I love that movie. |

CNN held off calling Ohio, Nevada and New Mexico way longer than they should have, mostly I think 'cause they didn't want to admit that their poster boy was getting beat.

Hey I like Candy b/c okay she is fat but CNN isn't afraid to air her. I love Bill Snyder and think he is a genius in Politics. I am a republican die-hard but I watch CNN and the Daily Show and find both good shows. I don't watch fox and HATE Jerry Farwell.

I surfed alot. Fox and MSNBC were good. Once again, O thought Cris matthews was fair. 2 in a row for him.
I caught a glimpse of Hudy Woodruff announcing Florida for Bush, she looked as if she was gonna cry. I was irritated with CNN for their green 'too close to call' stae.... Especially with 99% of the precincts in, Bush ahead by about 140k they showed an unwillingness to even recognize that Ohio was going for Bush, as if the contest was still in question.... Candy Crowley was fine as a correspondent. The world has space for people of all shapes. |

I enjoyed watching all the shows. You could tell the betworks bias by the general mood of the sets during different times of the day.
Foxes mood was sour early and everyone elses was sour late. |

Don't believe for a second that Paula Zahn, Wolfie, Judy Woof-Woof, et al, are not positively ecstatic about the prospect of another four years of whoring for BushCorp. Not only do they get to polish Smirk's knob for another four years--they get to do it while wearing their swastikas on their sleeves from here on in. The only reason they didn't call OH for Smirk when Faux and GE/NBC did was CYA. |

How can you be so delusional? What do you watch, Pravda to get your information? The Guardian? Bartcop? You reached a new low if you think CNN is come Facist regime, but then again, you think all the news is Facist. Pathetic.
Why did Fox beat MSNBC by 9/1 and beat CBS? We are all brainwashed? It's because America can smell a skunk. |
