I can't believe half the country is this stupid. Shows you what the power of denial can do. And how horribly religious this country is.

baja already doesn't like it and moved to Mexico years ago

anyway, I don't want anyone to get out that doesn't like Bush. We need people like this to keep everyone in check. Power does corrupt and there needs to be watch dogs.

Same way if Kerry would've won.

Actually, you know what they say- You don't like it, find an azzhole and kick him 'till he begs for mercy.
People like you don't deserve to live in the USA! Differences of opinion have always been allowed in this country, but apparently you believe in the motto "my way or the highway".
Pretty damn scary, if you ask me!

Bush with 51% of the popular vote (first president in 16 years to get a majority and that includes Clinton) and he is 99.99% guaranteed to win Ohio and thus the election.

Yeap it's a good day.

Looks like America is shifting towards being more conservative with Republicans winning more senate and house seats. Tom Daschle losing is a huge blow to the democrats as it raises the question as to who will lead them now after Kerry officially loses. There is probably going to be so infighting within their party as the new waive of democrats (Dean and Co) are considerably different then the traditional democrat.

Let's see if John Kerry is a uniter or a divider. It's time for him to concede.

I doubt this will take the eleven days to be determined, but I agree with Spider.

Let the legal votes be counted, that way when Bush wins nobody can cry foul.

One would hope so, but historically you have to wonder why it is that in order for Democracy to make a strong showing, people have to be really polarized and divided. I guess its self-evident when you think about it. Your point is taken, however. Democracy won today, and so America won. :hooray:

Yes!

It's all decided by closed minded religious zealots, bent on turning America into a Theocracy!

I love how, year after year, when the Dems lose, it's because the people who voted Republican are either stupid or crazy. Not because the Dems have a platform that the majority of the country finds distasteful.

No joke.

Democrat win = America is strong and Democracy works
Republican win= Opression of the masses and America is stupid
Democrat scandal = Wrongful accusations and politically motivated hate.
Republican Scandal = Evil Republicans' true nature being exposed to justice
Democrat Policy Failures = Media spin and conspiracy theories
Republican Policy Successes = See above
