Default CU vs KU -- Quoting Jimmy Eat World

"I always believed in futures,
I hope for better, in November"

If we can run the table in the next three games, we actually have a legit shot at the Big XII north title -- or as it should be known "The Right To Get Stomped By Oklahoma".

For some reason, the Jayhawks have ALWAYS played us tough. I don't know if the team just thinks we're playing their basketball team or what. I remember last year when we had to take them to OT to win 50-47, and then the players came over to the student section and led us in the fight song. My best friend turned to me and said, "It's Kansas. What's the celebration for?". How the mighty have fallen. That right there tells you everything you need to know about CU football.

No TV for this game either. THat means you don't have to actually watch Watson's gameplan though, so consider it a plus. I think we pull it out in the end, but it's gonna be way closer than it should be. I'm actually more nervous about this game than I am the KSU game (in KSU's defense though, they are the finest junior college in the nation) next week.

But who knows. We could win the Big XII North.

Quote:
For that to happen, Nebraska would have to lose at either Iowa State (Nov. 6) or Oklahoma (Nov.13); Iowa State would have to lose one of its three remaining games; Missouri would have to lose at home to either Kansas or Kansas State; and Colorado would have to win its remaining games, at Kansas, vs. Kansas State, and at Nebraska.
CU 28, KU 24

KU's season is effectively OVER. That makes me happy...
