Default Shanahan and Elway both have endorsed Bush

Just curious what you Democrat Bronco fans think about it. I think it's wonderful as a Bush fan but I'm curious if you will think they are evil racist jerks now that their affiliation is revealed.

Their affliation has been revealed? It hasn't been a secret.

It's stupid to judge someone based on their political affliation.

JMHO.

Treatment is available, but it must be caught quickly before it spreads.

I was a big fan of Kurt Cobain. He did heroin. Just because he liked something that I thought was bad for me, didn't mean I didn't like Kurt anymore...

totally agree, jsut so you know. Spide and I disagree politically but we seem to agree on football things. Other's have great difficulty seperating heated politcal discussion from personal offense. That's really the point of a post like this.

I'm a conservative republican and I think I'm right. I think most Democrats are good people, I think they're just wrong. This election cycle has certainly brought out the worst in people.

No seeming to it bro .. we do agree on Football
I agree on football with alot of people here , Most wish I would stay away from politics and stay on the football board
I see it this way , the election will be over in 20 some odd days , but we still have alot of football left , and when we are all celebrating a Broncos playoff win 90% of Political talk will be forgot .......

Yeah and the football we'll have left looks to be great given the Broncs are at 4-1. Honestly it's great to know that this election, win or lose, the Broncos have a great team this year.

People are allowed to have their own views on things, and if football players and coaches somehow influence others enough to vote the way they're going to, it's a little bit on a scary side.

Just out of curiousity why would you think it is wonderful because a Coach and Quarterback have the same political affliliation you do? Would you really think less of either one if they were Democrats or Libertarians? I've never been able to quite comprehend why humans need so much validation of their own personal choices. Regardless of what mark someone makes in a voting booth it is not a reflection of their intelligence. Rather the result of their own experiences and determinations. Those should not need justification by anything or anyone else.

No. Quite the opposite actually. I need no validation for my believes. I'm happy because I think they are correct and believe in something good for our country. I'm happy that someone I already respect alligns themselves with my own views and is therefore closer in terms of philosophical beliefs. Would I believe differently if they were Democrats? No. Do you believe differently since they're voteing for Bush? I hope not solely for that reason.

I wanted to point out that we can respect each other in spite of our many differences and felt that this would be a good way to force the issue into discussion.

Maybe their political affiliation gives you a clue about how they think. I judge them, but I don't hate them because of it.

It doesn't matter to me who Elway or Shanahan endorse or support. One of my best friends has completely different political views than I do, I may question his views, but it does not affect our core relationship. Political views did not create our friendship nor will it break it, we can agree to disagree!

You ask people if they believe John Elway and Mike Shanahan are evil racist jerks as a means to facilitate respectful discussion?

Fascinating justification.

What I find most ironic here is how conservatives are always harping about how celebrities have no business talking about politics and that their input means nothing, doesn't count, etc.

What's up with the double standard here?

LABF is not a Bronco fan. It shouldn't affect him at all. He just uses the name to troll for his weird "Bush-is-Satan" religious cult.

I don't now about debates, but when I went to ASU it was a babe fest.

The women at ASU are so freaking awesome it should be illegal.

I went on the DU Debate team, and these women were simply sick.
They were alot of big boobed, green eyed blondes that looked like nymphos.

There were thousands of them.

if you think I am lying just go take a look.

I'm as rabid a right-winger as there is, but anyone who takes their political advice from football personalities is as crazy as the twits who think popular recording artists can shed light on the matter.

Heh heh heh.

Now not only do you "hate America" and "want the terrorists to win" when you don't support the Smirking Chimp: you can't be a Broncos fan either.
