I think most people were calling this. I thought I heard both Corso and Herbstreit call it this morning, but I could be wrong.

I thought OSU would bounce back after being upset by Northwestern. I will take OSU losing any day! It sure does put a smile on my face!

Homer Herby picked OSU. Naw, Herby isn't really that much of a homer. I think he's great. But he did pick OSU here.

In 2 weeks, I've gone from thinking about winning the Big 10 title, to hoping that we can win 6 to become bowl eligible this year.

There's a lot to blame to go around, Tressel needs to start taking some of it. He's hide behind a National Championship wall free of criticism, now Bucks fans are saying "wait, you won with Coopers class, your heir apparent Zwick sucks, and your offensive gameplan can't score on Prarie View A&M."

Zwick gets a lot of criticism as well, he's only a sophomore, but if you're a Big 10 QB, you don't get that ONLYA luxury as an excuse. Michigan isn't saying that Chad Henne is ONLY a freshman, no school can say that. He can't throw a spirl, he cant hit is WR's, he cant fluently run an offense right now. When he got injured at the end of the 1st half, me and my dad were at BW3's and all the Bucks fans with us were hoping that he was injured enough that he couldn't go in the 2nd half.

Tressel gets blame as well, there's no way that Zwick can play that poorly, and not give Troy Smith some snaps at QB. The guy is elusive with a great arm, and up until 3 days before the 1st game of the season, we didn't know if he or Zwick would be our starter. The guy is good, and he cant be much worse than what we're seeing from Zwick.

Our offense is pathetic, and a lot of blame goes there. Snowball effect here, our offense would be good if we had a QB, but our QB might be ebtter if we had a running game to take some pressure off, but our running game might be better if our OL was good and could open up better holes etc. Regardless of what the hell it is, we've scored 4 TD's the last 2 games...AND 2 HAVE BEEN ON PUNT RETURNS!!

It;s sad to see this WR corp go to waste, Holmes, Hall, Childress, Ginn, have all shown what they can do with the ball in their hands, hell, Holmes and Ginn have been the players taking the 2 punt returns back. These guys will win us games if we could get them the ball, they are the only part of the offense that doesnt deserve any blame or criticism, they are a solid group.

I may be young, but I've always followed Buckeye football, and I cant remember a time when I was actually worried about playing teams like Iowa and Purdue, as good of teams as both have, they were never OSU calibur, now they've gone over us. We still play Indiana and Michigan State, but after Northwestern and the way our offense is playing, there's no such thing as a gimme win for this team.

I could rant for awhile, but will leave it at that for now, I'm just pretty upset.

Honestly Denfan, I think you need a new O coordinator. 3 yards and a cloud of dust can only work for so long. The Buckeyes were getting by with great D and an O that just didn't screw up enough to win the games. Although, I don't follow OSU enough to know whether or not to really make that call I guess. Just in the few games I've watched over the last few years. It very well could be the qb play. Just be happy that you have a program and a school that supports each other. You could be a buff fan. CRAP. Florida just choked against LSU and it's gonna cost me. DAMNIT! ZOOK GOT ME AGAIN. HOW CAN I CONSTANTLY BE FOOLED BY THIS GUY! f*** ZOOK!

Den, I am not too sure about Purdue. They didn't impress me today against Penn. I was expecting more from Kyle Orton and that Purdue offense.

I'm still proud to be a Buckeye, but I have to really think hard and far back to remember the ladt time I was this down on a team.

It has something to do with the coaches, but we just don't execute on offense. I couldn't count the number of time Zwick missed open WR's on both of my hands, these WR's are really good and young as well and just can't get the ball in their hands to do anything with it because Zwick just cant get it to them.

That being said, Wisconsin has had our number, what the Ravens are to the Broncos, the Badgers are the Buckeyes. No team has had more success in the shoe than them, this is now 3 straight times they've beaten us in Columbus, and have won 4 of the last 5 games against us. 4 years ago at Camp Randall was our last win against them, they have our number and have success against us.

I didn't get the chance to watch any of the afternoon games today and just now saw the OSU/Wisconsin highlights on Sportscenter. Why were the Buckeyes and Badgers fighting at the end of the game? Sportscenter didn't really explain anything or show too much of the brawl.

Purdue hasnt look that great the last 2 weeks, but they are still undefeated and have a good team, plus these 2 big things.

1.) we play them in West Lafeyette. That place is going to be rocking, especially if they are still undefeated.

2.) They owe it to us to beat us. We've scraped away with victories the past 2 years and it's about time that they get us back. 2 years ago it was the Krenzel to jenkins bomb with 8 seconds left on 4th down to win 10-6, last year it was a 27-24 2OT victory. Nugents FG attempt was block to send it into OT, we lost possession but Purdue missed a 38 yard FG in 1st OT to send it into OT, we won then.

I'm worried, especially with this offense.

I didn't think Wisconsin would actually win, but I knew Ohio State was incapable of covering a point spread.

BTW, congrats on 9,000 as well, DF. I'm worried about the K-State Wildcats being bowl-eligible as well. OU next week WON'T be pretty...

What's up Breck Bronc,
What that was about was the Wisconsin players were doing thier little dance on the block O in the middle of the field after the game. I guess it wasn't taken too kindly too especially with the frustration that was going on there. If you beat us that's fint but take your little punk asses and get on the bus. It will be remembered.
